    Great feature. Maybe if I can keep mine together I'll get a chance to compete against it at an event in the near future.

    Lots of good info here. Man this is similar to my s10 build. I widened the track width 3inches all around to fit c5 staggered wagon wheels. Modified 3rd gen 4 wheel disc brake rear-end stock leaf springs and 3rd Gen torque arm homemade custom mount. Has complete s10 xtreme suspension package 3rd Gen quick ratio steering box + many other upgrades to the suspension and brake system. Putting a fresh 350 into it soon its a blast to drive

    Jesse Vaughn at Level 7 Motorsports can get you fixed up with anything you want. Kevin and I both use him. Jesse built my yellow/white 78 he's currently racing this season for me.

      I know Jessie but not sure TJ knows. I guess I assume he’s aware of Level 7 but I can’t say for certain. I’ll reach out to TJ. Thanks for the heads up

    I just got a 93 GMC Sonoma single cab long bed 4.3 V6 only eighty-six thousand miles on it and I only paid a thousand bucks for it the interior looks brand new no rips or tears or anyting all I had to do is replace the door cylinders I do the brakes because they don't work for some reason and maybe fix the AC and that's literally all it needs then put a drop kit on it 10 to Windows and so nice rims then doing LS swap down the road

    Awesome professional vid. I have a variety of v8s10s short stand trucks that range from 450 - 1800 HP. That frame to cage is key! Winters IRS is the best I found with lead balast along w/ twin 88s an dry sumpoil and cool system in the bed. For a 3000 gvw. Enjoy the happy times

    I’d suggest a panhard bar on the rear end, you can definitely see it sliding back and fourth after accelerating out of the corner which looks like wheel hop as well

    • @315squared4
      @315squared4  7 месяцев назад

      He’s currently building a brand new S10 to track. A standard cab. Not sure if he’s going to use a panhard bar or not on the new build? He hasn’t updated much on IG. I need to reach out to see how it’s going

    This is so badass man, I’m thinking of making my second gen Isuzu hombre into an autocross truck, right now I have tiny cheap all season tires and the front grip is otherworldly compared to most cars so I can’t even imagine what it’s like on a decent sized sticky tire! Definitely need to throw some of the weight towards the back though it looks to get out sideways a lot which is really fun but it’s not going to win me races

    • @315squared4
      @315squared4  Год назад

      I’ve thought about building a S10 or Hombre but it’s not in the budget quite yet.

      Rear grip is much more about suspension tuning than just weight placement. Keep working and you'll get to your goals!

    Love this video. Have 2 street strip S10’s 93 & 94 and 01 GMC JIMMY I’m wanting to Autocross it it’s LS swapped got C5 brakes for up front new Viking crusaders dbl adjustables for all around. Thanks for the taller A body spindle tip. Just learning from scratch. Are you gonna do a manual rack and pinion? Also when you ram spacers for the vette wheels where you worried about the spacers holding up? Which ones did u use?

    Do you think a torque arm would be needed had you gone with a triangulated 4 link in the rear?

    • @315squared4
      @315squared4  Год назад

      Let me ask TJ the owner and I’ll let you know what he says

    • @315squared4
      @315squared4  Год назад

      So TJ said it was never a thought of his to do that as he wasn’t interested in that kind of set up for his truck.

    • @Innovaspeed
      @Innovaspeed Год назад +1

      That would prevent the rear suspension from cycling at all. You would never use those 2 suspension designs together. I'd take a torque arm setup over a triangulated 4- link.
