    Arnie should promote the show and shine portion alot more. Maybe the guys that come for the show and shine portion will be tempted to try out their trucks... i know thats how i did my first(only 😅) autocross event at C10 nationals one year. I got in line to do autuocross last year in my 2dr tahoe but had to leave 😢.

    Excellent video. I have been watching all the shootout videos I can find. Would love to come sometime. Do they have events in other areas or only in Kentucky. Thanks, Rich

    I wish companies would support dodge trucks. In order to compete with the truck I’m building I’d be in T2 with ridetech “bolt on” it would be more like novice

    What mufflers do you guys recommend running to get a similar sound to an autocross truck ?

    Do any of these guys run a turbo LS setup?

  • @malc1012

    Interesting that most of those race trucks don’t run 15in wheels. It’s all 18in and 20in. Big wheels thin sidewall.

    • @PEDR0SKI
      @PEDR0SKI 2 месяца назад +1

      Big tires give
      Most of the trucks have big brakes and 15s won't fit on them.

    • @Toylar
      @Toylar 2 месяца назад +2

      Most of the competitive autoX tires available are for 18" wheels. There are some options in 19" and fewer for 17" and 20"
      Vitour did recently release the Tempesta P1 in a 305/30R15 but there really aren't any options there. Most builds can't run less than 17" or 18" for brake clearance

    • @malc1012
      @malc1012 2 месяца назад +2

      @@Toylar thank you for the information. Makes sense for the big brake caliber clearance.
      An issue I currently have for my c10 finding a nice meaty wheel size with matching tire brands for the front without sacrificing sidewall.
      Trying to go a little taller than my current setup of 15in 295/50/15 and 245/60/15 at 26.6in tall.
      Going to look into finding a nice wheel size in 18in now.

    • @Toylar
      @Toylar 2 месяца назад +2

      @@malc1012most 315 or 335 autoX tires are around 25.5" to just under 26" tall. More sidewall looks good and many full size trucks look best with 19" or 20" wheels so it's usually a compromise between looks and if you want to run a max effort tire

    • @malc1012
      @malc1012 2 месяца назад +2

      @@Toylar you’re absolutely right and that’s the issue I have lol.
      I think I’ll just be going with 285/40/18 and 255/45/18. Matching brand tires and 27in tall. And getting maybe one more inch drop to close that fender gap..
      295/40/18 would be nice but no matching brand tires and it’s not any much wider than the 285.

    Stupid oil pressure sensors i had one due that on me last year and never realized it and i ran my motor dry of oil. I switch over to a lowdoller motorsport oil pressure sensor zero issues since. Part# 8990130
