Nah, I think it speaks more to the idea that Baki wasn't Yujiro's idea of an ideal son initially, but after fighting Baki, he realized that Baki was still everything he wanted and more.
I never thought they would be able to top the father son quarrel arc, but Musashi’s is my favorite. I stopped reading some time after the sumo arc I think I had read everything released up to that point. I really don’t see where there is left for the series to go.

Man, this fight is getting boring. The hits seem to do 0 damage to either of them, and if they do "take damage" they recover almost instantly. Where are the broken limbs we usually see in Baki fights?
It's a fight between the most overpowered character and a his son who is half as strong as him but has the help of plot armor, what else did you expect?
If she will bring that Son - Father fight is a terible thing, and Baki shouldn't fight him, becos he is a good person, who even as a Hanma wants a simple life. Will be good, but it will probalby not happend, idk protect her becos Juriro is annoyed by her or something

She must have an important impact during this fight" . . . "Wait a minute,i don't know how to write good female characters. Lets make her an annoying bitch as always 😃👌
Nah she comes in and talks shit to both baki AND THE FUCKING OGRE and walks away . Plus baki gives a very well measured response to her like no one else values she's his gf.

Retsu vs pickle showed us how sad it is when something you spend your life on doesnt work out, Katsumi vs pickle showed as an amazing coming of age story, and baki vs yujiro showed us a bonding session.
