Bushiroad is FINALLY respecting the fans and listening!! I never thought they'd do something so based! Now if only the other Vintage series are not $70 DLC like the first game unless Bushiroad learned from the backlash they got from DD1
Okay so, compared to dd1, dd2 have more content (haven't finished the entire main story yet so I can't say for certain, this is only based on the amount of card list, and the online fight option upon 6 hour of my play time) But at the same time, they also cut some of the feature in dd2 that make dd1 good, such as special interaction the characters has with their units especially their vanguard. In dd2 most vanguard have generic animation when attacking, and there's no special interaction when riding the main vanguard.
Sad part is i dont think thats possible. not sure if it increases when you hit the max but so far the max says you can have 100 decks. Pretty sure with the card pool in DD2 we have more than 100 ride lines to build so probably going to have to cut down on some decks to build. We also have vintage decks which i think will be included in the 100 deck limit so yeah
the vg paradox tip was hugely helpful. I remember sending them a contact way back asking them to support, so glad they support it now... now I just need to learn how to build vintage decks LOL.
Worth noting on the standard starter decks: they’ve all been updated to be playable (ie 50 card main deck). Can get extra copies of some of the cards you might not have 4 of yet that way, even if you bought them before in DD1
I might actually come back to the game I stopped playing after the first game and never picked up since then, but with the vintage stuff and what not this is really getting my hyped thank you again df

Something I think is completely unnecessary because the dlc isn’t gonna start coming out till end of the year and not everyone is gonna be interested in them. Like, DZBT 4 and 5 will be popular but don’t see everybody getting the nightrose and Harri set

Im still heavily on the fence about DD2 specifically because future sets will still be paid dlc just like dd1, which for a 70 dollar game really makes me iffy about getting it. Especially since i want to get some of my friends(who havent played vg) to play it and even if i gift them dd2 i think the dlc for later sets will turn them off to truly wanting the game.
Yeah this is not a good value proposition when Legacy of the Duelist exists. This just exists to prey on "dirty EN gaijin" who feel left out from the OCG with overly expensive jpgs and atrociously overpriced DLC. Just pirate it when it gets cracked
Another thing that is worth mentioning, personal experience is cards on the steam deck are not visible in game unless you inspect them in a game but the actual game runs fine just a heads up
continuing my comments on the previous video and credits where it's do Vintage mode is the best idea for this game to be worth it, unlike legacy of the duelist Link Evolution which just have some incomplete sets, slap bit of the new story and change the board format to the "recent" board format. And with the dev care about Vintage mode and gonna update the mode, definitely bringing lots of positive and value to the game. Unless ofc they lock it behind pricy dlc paywall hoping it's not gonna happened but it's a low chance. Anyway imma bought the game

I actually started playing Vanguard because of DD1, want to experience the vintage format, but dont know what to build or where to start, are there any sites with decks of that era?
The official Vanguard website has decklists from the first events in 2012, but even those are mostly topped by BT06/EB03 decks or Tsukuyomi. So it has accurate Tsukuyomi builds, but that's it
I'm confused, the deck box and card sleeves that feature the protag from the skyride manga isn't available for purchase on my game,I'm on switch is this just a bug or is it a PC exclusive?
Currently there are nothing from V era yet and I believe vintage fight only included stuff up until before legion so no legion and no imaginary gift but they do introduce energy system for D format. (I am not sure about limit break though but I believe they are not there yet too)
Question here for anyone: I own some SP vintage cards but they aren’t showing the card art, just the Cardfight Vanguard card back. It carries over even in gameplay. How do you even fix that (Switch)
@@RiotOTCW me too. I got into the Deck because I like to use Charakter Decks. So I play Sieg for with Yuki in the Story. And personally I think the Deck is quite good out of the 4 Fights I had in Ranked I won all 4 using Sieg. 2 out of the 4 Decks were against higher Tier Decks Verga and Luard

This looks much better then DD1 but I'm very curious of how long people will play this game longevity wise because I remember when DD1 came out and got it for switch their weren't many players still playing after from my experience and very curious if I should get this on steam or possibly on switch again been awhile I've played Vanguard and this is a much cheaper option for me
I wanna get this second game so bad. I got the first one and I felt like I got scammed with no release of set 12 and 13. Bushiroad does too many cash grabs and even tho this game looks like it has more effort put into it there are so many translation errors and is very unoptimized. For the price idk if worth and chances are if these fundamental things are wrong other stuff can be broken as well.
If you played the 1st game on switch and your buying this game for switch as well the data is transferrable,but if you bought the 1st on PC (for example) and you bought the 2nd game on switch then data is untransferable

Most likely. I mean, they did that with dear days 1, fixing translation errors and technical issues, so no reason to think that they won't do it with dear days 2

Not really, no. There's no free decks from entering a code in the search bar. I think there are certain sets that grant you large amounts of CP once you have dupes, but not on the same level as Kris showed (as the set Kris showed in DD2 has 4 ORRR and a smaller selection of cards). Festival Collection probably comes closest, maybe.

Depends entirely on how far they'll go with vintage fight. We know there'll be more cards for it though, and that it currently goes up to TD04 and BT05 (plus some EBs). Legion wasn't introduced until TD14 + 15 and BT16. For reference Link Joker was introduced in TD11 and BT12
Yo, is there someone who have troubles launching the game, because of directx11.1 lib error? Every library is launched, directx12 working fine, pc specs way above recommended, but the game still crashes upon launch.
You're not missing a much really if you haven't played the first. What you miss out story-wise is partly given as flashbacks and the rest you can find on RUclips. Gameplaywise it's about the same except for the few new rules that came with Divinez as well as some UI changes. In terms of cardpool you get access to the entirety of DD1's (including DLC sets) plus sets that should have made it to DD1 but didn't (like D-BT12 and 13) and all Divinez products up to DZ-BT03 and DZ-LBT01.
Wanted to try this game, but saw the scam price tag of 70$ for the game and 150$ dlc on release and that told me all i needed to know about this game lol.

We already know DLC values (roughly) and its high, was £109 for game + Season Pass (so the new upcoming card sets)
For ref DD2 by itself was £58.

Dear days 1 with dlc ended before fated clash. So Eva, and all other units didn’t get their alternate supports.
If only it made it that far, DD1 didn’t even make it to Willdress season 3, last piece of DLC was that Festival Collection 2023/Parts of Set 11 dlc.
