  • Applying AMMO Reflex Pro is simple and easy to do. Wash and decontaminant the paint, dry, and install. Be sure to wear PPE as you would when cleaning a dirty interior or polishing the paint. This video shows you the step by step process for installing the paint coating, AMMO Reflex Pro Enamel Coat. Allow 6-12 hours before getting wet/driving/touching for best curing and final shine. The end of this video is a Q&A section based on the questions I have received in the past few days. I'm sure you will have more questions, so feel free to reach out to me directly. Be well everyone! -L

Larry one of my favorite things about your products (apart from them working amazing) is that you’re so cautious about what you put into them. Working with products every day of the week it’s comforting to know you’re prioritizing safety, and that it’s not an after thought. please always keep doing what you’re doing you’re a huge inspiration of how far being an honest, hardworking business man can get you

I am afraid big chunks of the general detailing business will put every so small bits of graphine in their coatings, and hype up the industry to a "new" graphine (snake oil) era.

When I listen to your explanations I finally understand the physics and chemistry, in this videos case chemistry, of decisions when detailing. Thank you so much for the incredible thought and care you put into everything you do.

I follow matt moreman's Obsessed Garage channel loosely. Other than always wanting the 'best' car care/detail stuff and becoming a dealer/distributor of such products with his own business whats it about his approach that's not up to par? He is not science based and focus on results of products out there while Larry is very science based and uses it to develop his own product line that helps differentiate and make it work better from other products. I do like how Matt Moreman tests some the of products that AMMO doesn't have such as the different window treatments when the market is flooded with so much stuff. When started getting into detailing my own cars I took at look at Chemcial Guys and their line of products are confusing as to what exactly they do or when they are to be use. With that said I use almost all ofammo products b/c how Larry explains how each works and look to some of Obsessed Garages take on products that AMMo doesn't have. I also wonder if Obsessed Garage would've carry and promote Ammo products if it was widely distributed. I think Matt Moreman promotes products that he can sell/become a distributor of. In the end, i do agree with you, the number of subscribers on ammo vs obssesed garage or other detail channels like chemical guys tell us the story who is the leader in this field.

Gary F Hi Gary. To be quite honest with you, the short answer is that I have trouble with arrogance. I have purchased many products from both Ammo and OG, and most likely will continue to buy the products I like from whomever sells them, including OG. I just take exception to someone telling his “purchasing audience” that, “well I’m testing this product, and will sell it to you, but if it breaks, don’t ask me to fix it or send you a new one..” “it’s a grass roots effort and I’ve put all the work into testing it”... now, let me get into my $200k Porsche and be on my way. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that he’s successfully selling items that, for the most part work well. I appreciate it, but sometimes it’s better to be more humble. It’s ok if he isn’t, and it’s ok if I voice that I am not a fan. The key difference for me between the two guys, Larry and Matt - Larry has a passion for creating and selling products that mean something, Matt has a passion to make money. I’m just not impressed, that’s all... 😉

This is great stuff! I was in the detailing industry for over 10 years, and when Ceramics came out there was a lot of smoke and mirrors and it always felt like snake oil in order to sell people on proper paint correction through compound and polish (since people were charging upwards of 1k-2k to do an application). When I heard people offering "Paint Warranties" it felt like a dealership offering you a special "paint coating" which was really just a mass cash grab in hopes no one came back to collect. This explains a lot better about what you are offering and looking forward to trying it out. My background is Mechanical Engineering so I'm always down for a nerd session lol

Your dedication to our profession is motivating. Your selflessness and openness has really helped me to see through the BS and appreciate the truth even more. I hope the top Detailing'channels watch this and learn. Because I was this close to buying a Graphene coating because the channels I watch have said it is better at preventing waterspots than Si02 coatings. Now, if I understood you correctly, it is the coating and not the graphene that does the work. How good is AMMO's ceramic at preventing water spots? My daily driver is not garaged and I had it coated with Opti Coat Pro Plus and Apel film in January. But water spots have been an issue.

I remember asking about coatings years ago and you were really against it but you did not say anything negative just the why you felt that way at the time. The world needs more of that for sure and the best thing is knowing you go by the science and not buzz words or chasing trends. While i only have a few of your products you can tell the passion that is put in every single one and dont ever get away from that. I just wish that you had Canadian distribution as products get really expensive unless ordered in really large quantities. Keep up the great work

I greatly respect and admire your beliefs and the effort you attempt to instill them into your products and business philosophy. Stay true to them in all aspects of your life and you will always be successful in everything you do.
I have dismissed these graphene products as snake oil. Still don’t understand what makes the graphene supposedly better than the traditional coatings.
Side note question: did you say use Brute? As in aftershave? Lol

I have been waiting a long time for this. Yes, I could have used something else but I chose not too. I like your products and I like how you think. I don't have to worry about it. You already have.

Larry and "quick videos" don't exist. Larry's idea of a quick video is 25-30 mins LMAO. Great video regardless!! :-D

ok so how coatings and additives was explained to me... coating or base is the cookie dough... additives are the things you would put in it; chocolate chips, raisins (trust issues there) reases et al. the additives do different things to the base, sweet, salty, peanut buttery etc, this doesn't change the base cookie but adds to it and makes it better (imho).

Larry, thanks for the honesty in your products. Do you and don’t worry about what the public at large has to say. Your integrity is paramount and anyone who gives you grief about that is just not worth your time.
I just put Reflex sheet coat and skin on my car. Thoughts on forking your with Reflex Pro? Wait a few months until it’s time to re apply and switch? I also have Reboot which I haven’t applied yet.
    Thanks.

I'd be interested in the weight added by applying this product vs. the drag reduction by reducing parasitic drag. Could have racing applications across all sorts of disciplines.
