Hi Peter, If someone don't have good academics in graduation but that person will come in top 10 in MBA academics, Will he get higher chances for interview calls? (Considered that person is from non-finance background, now doing MBA in Finance)
For associate hiring, banks will focus more on what business school you go to, your previous work experience and how relevant it is to banking, and also also your EQ (e.g. how much people like you from the school sessions and your networking). Being like a Bakers scholar will help to distinguish you since a lot of bschools don't disclose MBA grades on resumes, so getting a relevant boutique banking internship even if it's for just 1 or 2 months before the fall recruiting starts will help the most (shows your interest and relevant skills).
