I suggest go on LinkedIn and find someone (or multiple people) from Sri Lanka that's gotten into a bank that you'd like to work at. Then reach out to speak with them about their path to banking. Have fun!
Glad you enjoyed it! I'd suggest get a high GPA and 1 to 3 finance internships first. For IB, a CFA is a nice cherry on top but the first two are more important.
