    Additional info: you must purchase 2 grade 10.9 M10x1.5x80 mm flange bolts (flange bolt or use a bolt and washer) to replace your stock steering rack to subframe bolts. You will also need Redline D4 ATF (or ATF of your choosing) to fill the system once the job is done.

    Guys, I'm so incredibly happy to be back and continuing the build on my E36 M3 drift car. Thank you so much to those of you who have stuck around with me through this entire project. It's been a tough last few months as I've finally buckled down in school to try and get graduated and get my engineering degree, so that until I can do RUclips full time, I have a means by which to finance it all! I hope you all are having an incredible day, hopefully a great spring break too!
    Remember, you are absolutely so much more than good enough. You are truly capable of anything, and the anxiety and doubt in your head do not have power over you. Focus on one thing, one day at a time. If there is breath in your lungs, you have a reason to fight for your dreams.
    Love you guys,
    Griffen

    So I figure it goes without saying but one of the things I didn’t show was tightening every fitting. I would leave that for the very end. Get them all snug, routed comfortably, and then use your AN wrenches to snug them down. Tightening them can be a bit tough with the clearances of everything, but is totally doable. Also: hope you guys also liked this video in 60fps😉

      Of course man, I always want to try and offer some encouragement to everyone here any way I can! And actually, that’s an original track of mine called “incomplete” with original vocals as well, haven’t finished it yet but it should be out soon!

      You made the track !? That's awesome man. Don't quit making music you have a knack and I only heard the intro and I've been around long enough to know talent when I hear it.

    I want to delete my power steering, noticed you mentioned the cooler for drifting, but if i get rid of power steering will this mean i wont need the cooler?

    • @griffengardner
      @griffengardner  Год назад +1

      That would be correct! Deleting power steering will mean your pump won’t actually be circulating fluid through the rack so no cooler will be necessary. Just beware that these cars do not steer easily without power steering!

      @@griffengardner Yea drift build... my main issue rn is I want to run the oem accessory belt, should i upgrade the rest of the parts to the chase bays kits, and run low fluid for the "delete"

    • @DRIFTSATION
      @DRIFTSATION Год назад

      @@griffengardner Since for my delete i dont want to get a shorter belt, since i have nice aftermarket ones for my s52.. which means i need to run the PS pump, with this kit does it still use the OEM pump and just replace everything else?

    I bought the kit and still ended up leaking, so for just 20 bucks I bought a block off plate and deleted it.

      @@griffengardner it was leaking from the bango bolt.

    • @griffengardner
      @griffengardner  2 года назад +1

      @@izheet287 so when it comes from Chase Bays they put the crush washers both on the pump side of the banjo bolt. I almost had a leak until I realized I was being silly and put one crush washer between the bolt head and hose and then the other between the pump and hose. Did you leave both crush washers on the pump side like it comes from Chase Bays?

    • @izheet287
      @izheet287 2 года назад

      @@griffengardner no I made sure I put the crush washers in the right place and torqued everything to spec and still ended up leaking.
