Speeds are limited in these two stands (1-2) but the manual says these are for torque increments, so at the very least the primary function of these 21 and 41 increments are proper! Thanks for the vid, since coming from my 15 yr old Makita 12 V to this HP001G I'm having a blast, such joyful beast.
@@bensonmerritt4605 you're so right. Just better to buy another battery or two. I turned a room into a bathroom, supply lines and waste lines and didn't need to charge once for the whole project. I couldn't care less about plugging tools in anymore. Old way of thinking. Dated
@@ExergameStation I like my fans and lights to still have rat tail compatibility, as it isn't uncommon to set them up in one spot for extended periods, although you pay a pretty premium for the battery functionality on these tools.
I love my set but Makita overcomplicated the drills in my opinion, 41 settings?.. have you used the impact?.. waat the heck do they think I'm a rocket scientist ?
I tried the link but the video is marked as private. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing the review. I would love to know how it compares to the 18V top of the range.
Dry ' running ! Will know ' , how solids, the new tools are...( moneys well spending. Because, very stable ', powerful, and fast enough to to the gears change in speeding ....) $$$$ top quality, professional tools ....()
Do you think it's easier to take your phone out of your pocket, open an app, turn your bluetooth on, make sure it is all working, then set the drill to what you want... Rather than just pick it up set it and go???

More fun than a video game!
Helpfull, thanks!
Makita should make cordless to corded option like Metabo hpt mv did. That would be awesome.
Just a battery with a step down transformer and a cord
Thanks for the tip.

These batteries are great, so there really is no need for corded. It is a wonderful drill.
Any idea as to how much each gear raises the torque? Or even the min/make of speed 1 and 2? Makita hasnt gotten back to me.

Im slowly making the change from 18v makita to 40v im very impressed with it so far... Fuck me 🤣🤣
can't they make all these settings available through an app and bluetooth?

@@BuildsStuff obviously he doesn't lol.. I think the bluetooth thing is wank too rather have the manufacturer set it for me
Yep. He can't work out how to answer a yt comment he started, yet wants a bluetooth drill.
@@BuildsStuff we'll maybe he just went and got one else where.. I have milwaukee one key stuff and I don't think I've ever used it
Exactly, because as you say... it's wank.
Can't say I have use the screw setting on a cordless drill since impact drivers came out
Me neither... until I got this.
