Great video on the steam upgrade! How does this new steam (or the stock steam) compare to say the Rancillio Silvia? Does this steam on the Gaggia make very silky milk, say better than the Sage Dual Boiler, or even the Bambino Plus?
I find the Gaggia is more forgiving. The rancilio is more powerful and if you get it wrong, your milk is finished. The classic with super steam is now more powerful and just lasts and lasts. If you get it wrong at the start when dipping the wand in the milk. The classic still allows you to fix any overly frothed milk. It creates superb texture and now allows you to do a huge amount too. It’s fab
Hi Antony, thanks for going through this. How much would it cost to have ALL the modifications available (also light and shot timer etc.) as well as the ones stated on the website for the Gaggia Evo Pro 2024 model? The stock model can be bought from Gaggia directly for £450 (with subscriber discount code)?
Hi, do get in contact via my email from the website. I do start my prices at £485 which includes the 9 bar spring, so I’m already close to the £450 stock machine in price
Hi Tom, The gagguino needs quite a bit of ongoing maintenance ( firmware upgrades etc) and should it go wrong requires a lot of knowledge. Therefore I only recommend this upgrade if the user fits it themselves as it would be impossible to problem solve and fix remotely. The shades kit I offer works just as well but doesn’t have the screen and automatic function , but performance wise matches the gagguinno

Do you think you will ever do Gagguino installations?
