About your thougts: Yes, I agree with you, sir. Being simple for me is the best thing. I love to read and learn about everything. Sometimes, though I cannot attend to the reading. I listen to myself and do not anything until I am ready to do so again. I am learning as I get older, and from what I have learned from is never to force anything. Let things happen naturally. I think not doing anything because of me not being able to attend to let us say reading is good for humans because it gives us a chance to release from your bodies, or purge if you will, what I have just taken in from the previous things I have read, or written, or done what have you. Yes, healthy behaviors and habits are essential for me to stay sane. Thank you for articulating that so I can understand the full blossom of what you are conveying to me. Fun fact about me: I find the best moments for meditation for me are when I am sitting, pooping on the toilet. I sit there and just close my eyes and breath and think about the things I will do and the situations that I will encounter that day. I go through my whole day inside my own head. It makes my day a lot better, than if I were not to do that exact thing. Thank you for your thoughts.

We all are subject to intrusive thoughts and worries but it is a sliding scale for people. Some hardly ever worry and some worry constantly with others falling along that line.

Minna-san Konnichiwa, Thought is the response of memory. Therefore, thought can be stopped completely only if one knows and understands how thought comes about. As we have said, thought is the response of memory. That is a fact. Knowing this, you will see this when you observe this fact, that when you record something into your memory, for instance you remember the pain that your family member inflicted on to you as a child, you make abstractions from that memory and it becomes a recurring thought. That is how thought comes about, or; I will say it as follows: That is the whole MOVEMENT of thought. Now, when you understand the whole movement of thought, or how thought comes about, then you see the whole thing, not the fragments of thought that invade your mind causing restlessness, and constant pervasive thoughts...You must learn and understand the whole before you can be free of the fragments that chain us down pertaining to ourselves. Human beings are history. I am history. knowing this, I must study myself, in order to understand all of human history. History, that word, means, " His story. " Which is the story of man. I am the story of man. History is me. When you truly understand that fact, one quits or stops accepting authority from outside himself, and thereby automatically accepting his inner authority. Now we all have to obey the signs of the road and so on. Of course. I am speaking and talking of something much more meaningful though...Thank you
:02😄! Tables have turned - now, you're asking the questions. My answers: Bad News. I get angsty or anxious when I watch the news. Local news never fails to trigger me. But I watch anyway. I need to. It keeps things real for me.😐 Prayer is my anti-anxiety weapon. Faith my shield. I pray while watching the news, not those long, memorized prayers, but just words or phrases that keep me connected. This is what works for me.😊 Anxiety is strengthened by uncertainty so I deal with it by drawing strength from what I am certain of - God, family...healing though art, nature, work, and dark chocolate.
Yes. Prayer matters for every activity. Since I started this channel, I often forget to pray, and sometimes, overthinking has overcome my mind. Praying to God is a top priority for all Christians. As the most we are in busy, we have to focus on prayer. Thnak you fore sharing your experience and ideas.
Busy-ness often gets the better of me. I tend to get obsessive about work. Then I can't sleep. I have 3P's that help me: Pause. Pray. Pace. By "pause" I drop everything and stop until my mind settles. Sometimes, I need to say the word, "STOP" aloud...several times...loudly. By "pray," I mean saying just a few words. Often, I whisper the words, "God, help me." By "pace," I walk to set a comfortable rhythm, so my body gets off the stress track. When I walk, I also try to bring my mind's attention outside itself. I take nonsense walks - sensory walks, no thinking required. These are the ways I cope. They work for me most of the time. I am open to learning more ways to cope and I am learning much from you! God be with you.
@@niseepaj It's a great method to walk, recite, and pray. Busyness works well for our minds when our work is healthy. Sometimes busyness makes our conditions worse when our work is detrimental. What are dreams? Dreams are the remnants or leftover thoughts, and feelings we have that accumulate each day that we as humans do not take care of, or address. They build up. They accumulate, when we do not address something, and then explode in our minds when we are sleep to quietly tell us to pay attention to that thing you sweating about when you are awake. To learn, to address, to pay attention, to watch it very, very closely. That is the basis for functional dreaming pertaining to us human beings. You must look in yourself and figure out what YOUR dreams mean, because of course, dreams mean different things to various people although a universality does encapsulate it. Meaning: Human consciousness is universal. I am the world and the world is me. My brain is no different than from let us say, Yutaka's brain, to draw a picture beautiful expression. To elucidate. To using for examples of people who will read this in the future. This is for you. Why I see this fact, this burning fact that my brain is no different from the Japanese brain, or the Brazilian brain, I realize that I am related to all. I begin to see the relationship I have with not only people, but I would say is more important, the relationship to nature and all things in this world. I am showing you how the brain works.

I feel anxiety just like you about things just as you have mentioned. For example; You know, I feel anxiety about the West's political landscape leading to lawlessness, and people turning bad and killing and stealing all over where I live, you know? That is my main worry, though maybe I should say to myself when I think these things that I have no control over these things, as you have no control over a natural disaster. It just happens. I am not downgrading or looking down on your worries, sir, because you and I have different worries because we live geographically in different parts of the world. For instance, I have no worry of a natural disaster striking where I am because this is not a disaster prone area where I live, at least where earthquakes or tsunami's are concerned. Yes, anxiety of these things is out of our control, though, I think that it is still necessary to be aware of these things, like earthquakes and tsunamis, and the West's political landscape declining because then when if happens, we will be ready for it. Something will go wrong in our lifetimes, and I speak for all. Something will go wrong that is out of the person's control who is reading this. Not just you and me, Yukata, everyone. There is nothing wrong with being prepared. Paranoia about things we cannot control? No. I do not think that is necessary, nor good. No civilization lasts forever. Thank the heavens! I am happy about dying in 50-somthing years. If you gave me the gift of immortality, Yutaka, I would say no thank you. There is happiness, for me, in knowing that things will go wrong because human beings only grow through conflict. Only strong, marvelous people who want to do the right thing grow. The others?
