I think criminal action is a bit far but absolutely should be ban from the stadium. This isn’t the guy in game 1 who just caught a ball I can understand maybe ask them to leave to not cause issues but that’s all. The biggest NFL comparison to this that I can think of was a game from way back between the Packers and the Bengals in Cincinnati where a 'fan' somehow eluded security and interfered with a Green Bay offensive play.

I am a Dodger fan and have been to many games at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers don’t tolerate unacceptable behavior from fans and are pretty strict about it. The Dodgers also project a pretty wholesome family friendly image. I was at a game with a friend and his 10 year old son once and some fans sitting behind us were cursing up a storm. My friend asked them to stop using foul language and they basically blew him off so he complained to an usher who then told these two jerks to either clean up their language or they would be tossed. The threat worked because these two nimrods didn’t say a peep after that.

When I first read of batteries being thrown on the field, to the immediate risk of the on-field players, I knew I'd never go to Yankee Stadium. This only convinces me - good on the stadium officials saying, essentially, "not here".
