In this video we explore the history of the Jupiter class battlestar which appeared in the new battlestar galactica series which ran in the early 2000s. As opposed to the Jupiter class which appeared in the original battlestar galactica series in the late 1970s.
Hope you enjoy this video, I really liked making it and it is one of the longer ones on the channel to date with alot of detail, as well as a lot of history to cover.

I liked that shot showing the ship being built.
That was a cool one. Want to say it’s from blood and chrome but could be wrong
It have been worth mentioning the Artemis and Minerva Battlestars, that were in service at the start of the war. Also, at the time of the cylon surprise attack on the colonies, Galactica wasn't the only Jupiter still around. 3 unnamed Jupiters were destroyed over Scorpia, and one unnamed Jupiter was destroyed over Caprica.
Iv been looking forward to this
I believe in the Battlestar Galactica Razor movie, we could see other Jupiter Class ships still in service during the dry dock scene. Galactica was simply the oldest of the class and being turned into a museum. But others were still in active service.
Audio was fine, enjoy your new home and try to get settled in dude :)
Audio was clear but I'd say the noise balance is down. Other videos I watch are pretty level with each other but I had to turn up my volume about 20% to hear it on a comfortable level. Is with different species in Star Trek that have common design lineages and design languages, some of the BSG designs can look really good. Some beta, game and fan designs use that design language to create some beautiful ships. Hearing how life took over really adds a human element to your channel. I hope the move wasn't too stressful, in life and content creation, the most fulfilling things take effort to achieve. Just outside my home is a small brook, sometimes it's a trickle and sometimes it's a torrent. There's also one outside my grandparent's house, There's usually water running through them and ever since I was a child I've always associated running water with being home.
Similar situation here water wise, it’s very comforting to hear. But don’t want it to get into the video just the same. Can’t have my entire audience suddenly having to use the bathroom two minutes in!
I believe the 12 Jupiters had a major upgrade. Mark 2 with later upgrades in lster in the war
But its ssid the moment the 22 Jupiter was completed.
The type 2 jsitor or saturn class was commissioned. They look exactly like the Jupiter with better technologies.
They made 14 of them to defend the clonies snd fee the Jupiters for offences operation.
Thete wete working on a tyre 3 herculese class . They were still under controtion
The older ship would be upgraded gradusl.
The galactica esq shipbwe see in the mini or razor are theses sships which are 10 to 15 years younger that galactica
Also they began wotk on the valkerie light battlestar ylt9 augment bsgs and added the pocket battle stars as escory support ships. 😊
I dig the video! Do you only do large star ships, or fighter as well?
I cover all sizes of ships. Recently I did a video on the Colonial Viper from the new series, and have also done videos on starfleet shuttlecraft and star wars starfighters.
One w Jupiter's and one juiyer msrk 1.5 . ( thr flagship atlantia) dhevwas build a a fleet commant ship with ecxtra gun , vipers and communication systems.
Thr lore suggested that the combined fleet was ambushed and sll but destroyed like in the tos pilot .. galactica, athena , promethus and atlanti survived.
Decommissioned wth galactica last
Ah her royal magisty Galactica
