Nemesis, is so pinpoint accurate he took out twelve stars agents while not even grazing the civilian standing in the middle of them. Proceeds to burn hundreds of rounds of ammo and multiple rocket launcher rounds failing to hit someone running away in a straight line. Also, lets here it for bomb proof plastic garbage bins protecting her from an exploding rocket less than 3 feet away.
A year late, but Alice's body was enhanced by the T-virus increasing all her senses, strength, speed, and regeneration. Obviously Nemesis was accurate but she ran faster than the bullets and the scene was slowed for dramatic effect.
Alice is a metahuman! 🙄
The STARS team weren't running away from him or scrambling around trying to dodge his fire like Alice was. They underestimated him and were basically just standing around in one spot returning fire. The civilian just stood their like a statue, easy enough to fire around him. And how do you know if she's running straight and not at an angle? There's no shots from his or her point of view showing that.
The RPG hit the concrete floor so most of the force was directed in that direction not sideways. The garbage bin protected Alice from the fireball and the concussive blast didn't knock her out because she's an enhanced human.
It's a movie based on a video game. Realism isn't going to be a strong suit.

They did a great job with designing nemesis visually and racoon city. But holy shit, the plot of this series and Alice (not the actor, just the character) just makes no sense.
Well she is like wheskers counterpart. She is another bio weapon but she escaped. Its way off the game but you can blame the games because they gave whesker the same powers basically.

Say what you will about these movies, Nemesis looks great! Maybe a bit small and not bulky, but for purely practical effects with no CGI, he looks amazing.
In the film he's actually a bit taller than the original game's version of Nemesis. Although he is not quite as bulky.

Please play the original Nemesis, his size varies in cutscene to gameplay, but he is not 'that' tall in the game, especially when you consider Jill is only like 5'4.

Even though she is not in the games, she is the perfect representation of the characters. Defeat BOWs that killed a lot of well-armed people quite easily, as long as the script allows.
This was the only Resident Evil W.S Anderson didn't do.
Ya know, I really admire his passion for Astronomy.. You can really tell that Nemesis loves everything about S.T.A.R.S and Space.. The boy really wanted to be an astronaut when he was a kid, but they denied him his dream because he was just too big. That lead him down this really dark road and it's the reason that he is so mad. He especially hates Jill, because she embarrassed him at Space Camp when they were kids and he's NEVER let it go..He wants to destroy her for making the class laugh at him.

The whole point of Nemesis going after S.T.A.R.S. members in the games was because of the survivors of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team (and Rebecca of Bravo Team) where witnesses to the mansion incident and Umbrella are trying to clean house... But that never happened in the first movie lol S.T.A.R.S. weren't involved, so why is Nemesis after them in this movie??? Fuck sakes, talk about bad writing!

Milla Jovovich and Paul W. S. Anderson got married, so of course, they were gonna keep crapping out more movies with Alice being the most important character. Capcom doesn't seem to have a problem with this either because they let Paul make another movie based on another one of their games, Monster Hunter. He of course threw his stupid wife in that too. I'm sure we'll probably see her in the next Street Fighter movie too.

I loved this movie as a kid but I found myself hating it as I grew up because of Alice (not Mila). And I agree with all you said esp Jill being accurate, Nemesis was a close second but he's a little chubby here.

@@lndintw That may be, but it won't be the same. You can make Nemesis look as good as you want with CG, but there's a unique satisfaction when something as elaborate as Nemesis is given an almost perfect practical, on-screen incarnation that isn't quite there with a movie full of CG characters.
If the used CG for, say, Nemy's final form from RE 3, then whatever, that's probably the only way your gonna do that anyway, but as long as he's relatively humanoid, there's really no reason in my eyes not to use a suit.

I remember having played RE3 in 2000 this movie’s trailer had me IMMENSELY HYPED; I know this movie let down a lot of the RE fans I didn’t hate it but that being said I wanted it to be Jill vs Nemesis so badly!!!!!! Lmao 😂 still Sienna Guillory was SO PERFECT AS JILL 💕 (which made it even more sucky that we didnt see her go up against nemesis for more than 2 seconds lol) probably tied for best video game adapted character alongside Shang Tsung from MK :)
Well sure that might've been cool but the movie is actually based a little more in reality than the video games are. As much fun as it is to play through the games and kill all the monster it's COMPLETLY unrealistic as fuck that a mere human could do all that. Only an enhanced human could ever actually stand up to Nemesis in reality.

Jill had a good emotional scene after this one, its good they show different sides of her, at first she is angry, then bitchy, then sad with tears, then she is like a mother figure to Angie, she wasn't just 1 dimensional, she was bad ass too.

I'll never understand why directors or whoever choose to put in scenes where the villain misses every single wide open shot, why not just make it so that the good guy makes it behind a wall just in time or something? Making the villain a terrible shot takes away all of the tension and fear, if they can't hit a wide open shot then the characters are in no danger at all, I just don't get it.
Alice is not like anyone the Nemesis have ever encountered before, shes just too fast for him.
He's firing a mini gun, those things are notorious difficult to accurately aim. Also when he took out the STARS team they were just standing in place firing back at him, easy enough to pick them off. Alice is running away and has enhanced speed and reflexes.
