Tramper! Lol truck camper! The other day I spent a couple hours in my car! I like to camp but when you are used to a certain lifestyle, it's hard to sleep, so I only got a max 1 hour before work! Lol I was so tired but I made it through the day, after coffee and mountain dew! Lol I hung clothing in my windows, put up my windshield cover, ect.... but still got cold, I can't turn off my lights by switch so after warm, had to turn off ignition to turn off lights to sleep and not be noticed! My husband isn't much of a camper, especially in the cold, so I had to try on my own! I'm hoping sometime in the future, I can come up with something comfortable for both of us if not, me to be comfortable cheap, cuz I'm so broke lol thank you for sharing! Always amazing to see your videos! Much love hope pup is well too!❤😊 nice tramper! Thanks for showing it!❤
I just want to tag along with the people who buy these things and get a taste of their lives. It just seems way more interesting and fun than my boring life 😅😅
@ I would build it myself, but I can't afford the hundreds of man hours to spare, not to mention a crash course in every specialty component and system required to pull off a great finished product. Reality is, I don't want a multi year project, I want multiple years of memories using the truck !
As an Alaskan I would have to have the extra alternator because I do camp in the winter time up here and we don’t have the sun in the winter time to charge the batteries
But why? There’s a sticker shock there sure. But understanding the reasons it cost what it cost would make anyone feel better. Why don’t people say the same thing about a Ferrari or a boat? They don’t say that about those because we expect it and have been explained it over the years. Well now we need to understand why with these
Probably best to contact OVP but in the video we say length of the box. You’d be guessing on the bumper to bumper number. However those that are truly interested in something like this most likely contact OVP directly
@@JarrodTocci A little price break down might be useful. How much is for labor? How much for, say, the box? How much for the materials? How much was the solar system? Or instead of the labor cost then the number of labor hours? Many of your audience have DIY skills. What would they have to spend to build something like this themselves?
This doesn’t come as a surprise; it features the same layout as countless other off-grid trucks on the market (with the exception of the LTI). If you're looking for something truly innovative, this may not meet your expectations.
When you start looking into what goes into these big truck/overlanding builds then it starts making sense. Sometimes not looking at the overall number is better once breaking it down
Who can afford to buy these expensive toys? 1 % of us population makes $800,000 income. 1% of of US population is 3.4 million really rich people, some of want the nicest adventure van. Can’t take it with you.
If there weren’t anyone buying these then not only would I not be making videos but companies wouldn’t be selling them year after year. I used to think the same way but once I changed my mindset I started to understand more. I also started asking questions to more wealthy people to understand them and how they do afford more in life. It’s not about how much you make it save either. I know that sounds backwards but trust me. Lastly the “1%” is more of a phrase because it’s way more than 1% that make that amount per year
Meh, it is okay. I would definitely like a more aesthetically pleasing interior design and I am more into the rogue vibe than anything else. Also cassette toilets are a HELL no for me.
Cassettes are a no go for me too, especially in an off-grid wanderer rig like this (where are you supposed to dump it). Would prefer an incinerating but the energy use is insane.
Love this OVPX. It's a beast but still sleek inside. My fav part is the pass-thru. Second fav is the bathroom.

Looks like an anti-zombie vehichle. Jump in and drive off, Jarrod! :P
❤❤❤❤❤. Would need lotto to buy this Camper Truck.
Whaow... the truck of my dreams 🤩
Came for the truck, stayed for the cinematography.
Much appreciated 😊
It's fabulous!
fascinating, amazing, all the comforts--something to dream about

Haha that’s true
Love the pass through.
Holy sh!t that is a sweet ride
Big ups to you for the production quality on your channel. Esp loved the b-roll on this one 🥰🌲
Thank you
This is a clean build
Okay that table mount in the dinette is fantastic. Anyone know the brand?
Glad I haven't bought my box from Globe Trekker yet. I may have to get these guys to build mine.
Globe trekker is great! If you don’t go with them I know another company that can make you a box and leave inside empty to pick any builder

Winter time for sure. Not sure he’s heading up there for winter tho
Only thing that blows my mind with this build is the price.

What is the overall length (floor) of the Box?
What is the overall length of the vehicle, bumper to bumper?

Oh that buck didn’t know what hit him
No clue lol
quit the truck , thanks for the tour ! ~peace~
You mentioned affordable in your description. Did you give a price in the video?
$400k
Very affordable 👌🏿
We did and very close to the beginning of the video. Roughly $400k for this one but price can vary easily

Very affordable😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
wait, if it's not road-legal...how does one transport it especially to Alaska? 🤔
Think you misheard me. It is road legal
*driving this monster must be stressful*
lol definitely thought the same! Once you drive one you’ll feel different

Might be like many other trucks but comes at half the price. Has all the same systems too
Million dollars? LOL. Whats the cost to build? 3X markup?

1/2 million dollars for a truck to breakdown!?????
No thanks!!!!
400k just so everyone is clear. Also if the truck breaks down at least you'll have a comfortable place to sleep, eat, and use the bathroom

Thank you for your ideas and thoughts. I agree with you to an extent
Never ever purchase this tin thin thing!!!!
That's ok if you don't want it but some do. Have a great day
