This guy is clearly one of my favourite flamenco guitarist. Besides having an "out-of-this-world" technique, he has a very musical mind, his playing is marvelous.

Decir excelente no puede definir la maestría de este chico.Yo he visto tocar esto a Sanlucar en directo e incluso lo grabé de estranjis para mi cole particular,y estoy seguro de que como excelente guitarrista que es( mi prefe junto a Paco) tiene que haber flipado cuando haya visto a Grisha,si es que lo ha visto...yo creo que cualquiera tiene curiosidad por ver un clon de si mismo,ja,ja....pero es que éste pille lo que pille lo absorbe como una esponja y luego lo reproduce con la máxima calidad.

I've been playing flamenco guitar for a few decades and have listened to all the masters on recording and live. One of the remarkable features of Grisha's work is his uncanny ability to capture the lyrical intent of the composer in his interpretation. From a sabicas danza arabe to a paco cepa andaluza to this sanlucar rondena - all strikingly different guitar poems having nothing to do with each other, and here all strinkingly rendered by this young master. It's called "musicianship."

It's a hand-built guitar made by a Russian luthier Georgy Babitchev. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago. We were friends.

Este chico tiene una técnica excepcional, componga o no componga. Precisamente por su técnica y facilidad, por ese dominio, hace muy fugaces los detalles en los que Manolo Sanlúcar se recrea y profundiza más, porque se trata de una ORACION. Eso sí, tiene unos dedos prodigiosos, toca con los ojos cerrados y siente de verdad el flamenco, por mucho que sea ruso. Sólamente ese pequeño matiz de la profundidad. Igual tenía muchas obras seguidas para dar el concierto y tocó ésta "de paso"

I'm an amateur classical guitarist with passion for tremolo technique.
Your tremolo in this video and other video are very powerfull but smooth. Can you give me some basica tip on how to practice to make it even like yours.
I saw and trying to follow your lesson on fast scale and tremolo by pressing the string down and using flesh rather than nail alone. In fact I already cut down my nails to the minimum.
I am making progress but my problem now is how to make it even.

Just a suggestion your videos when amplified have too much treble to the point it sounds metallic. Maybe that's why people may say there's a certain 'soniquete' missing.
