Thank you. I've never taught a class but I have coached and mentored a few apprentices and a number of bands and promoters. Always felt that knowledge is meant to be shared and you have a responsibility to do it.
Glad I came here. I had my first apadravya done, I did myself, in 2002. I still have it. Two years ago I put in another one behind it; now I have a double ap. I love it. The back one is pretty deep (just before the corona) and was tricky to place. But it's healed very well.
Got one 6 years ago and took it out 3 years later. I regretted it pretty soon after but it was too late, one week ago I did my second one. Still worth the pain!
I'm getting a PA done tomorrow (first piercing) with the intention of turning it into an apadravya (the piercer I found prefers doing them in two healing periods) and I have to say that I am actually looking forward to this, much as I don't particularly like the way PAs look and I'm more excited to turn it into an apadravya. Thanks for all the info and thank you for all you do in making these videos, you definitely helped me make the decision to make this one happen.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing We're about a week and change after the PA piercing and it came out decent (I might be a bit biased, lol), but as it stands, I'm still very much planning on getting the rest of it done as soon as my piercer says I'm healed enough.
I've had mine for over twenty years now. The most painful part of the piercing process for me was the sterilization of the urethra prior to the actual piercing. I agree that it is very important to have a detailed discussion with the piercer prior to getting pierced. I was very fortunate (and nieve at the time), i just walked into a well-known local adult shop that also provided tattoo and piercing services. The piercer asked me what I was interested in getting done, and I told him i wanted a genital piercing but hated the idea of a PA because of how common they were. I asked if he could do something like a string of pearls and he just laughed at me and said "go find a surgeon if you want that done, never trust a piercer to perform a surgical procedure even if it is something minor. Too many things can go wrong that a piercer is not trained to deal with " (keep in mind this was 26 years ago and a lot has changed since then). Retrieving a portfolio from his office he spent the next 20 or so minutes going over the different genital piercings and showing examples of his work. The second we got to the Apadravya i said that is the one. We spent 45 minutes going over every aspect of the piercing. He made sure i absolutely understood the pros and cons of it before agreeing to doing the piercing. All in all this guy spent just over two hours with me to make sure I got something i would be happy with and that i was sure I wanted, as well as educating me about the subject so i could make an informed decision. I will stop rambling now, this creator gives sound advice and is well worth listening to!
Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes, we have advanced a great deal in the last 26 years. However, I've never heard of Sterilizing the urethra and I can completely understand why you would say that was the worse part. Needle receiving tubes being inserted in there hurt enough, Especially the angle they need to be at but there is no reason to disinfect the urethra. In fact, as I understand it doing that could have caused a bacterial imbalance which would lead to a UTI. That all said, I'm happy to hear the piercer took the time to discuss the piercing with you before hand. I'm glad you found the video informative and thank you for watching.
Another con is finding jewelry. 1/16” make a difference in length for something that is used with so much friction. I wear one bar daily. If I know I’m going to be intimate, I switch to slightly smaller size to avoid catching. But any bar this thick is hard to find over one inch and in increments that work best. Still worth it.
I recently got this piercing. I come from no genital piercings fully to apadravya; but mine was done in one thrust. (Well not really one; some mishap happened and I had to keep the taper for a day until i went to another studio for the actual piercing. But did not do two seperate with a catheter.) Thanks for the video.
A taper for a day. That doesn't sound like a good time to say the least. Did they not have the correct length? I have heard of the one push but done really slowly. Also using forceps and clamping the tissue which I believe was the old gauntlet method. Either way congratulations on your new piercing and you're welcome. Thank you for sharing your experience and watching.
I'm not sure if you are asking about my ear piercings or something else. Basically I have four stretched lobe piercing and two upper ear or helix piercings.
got mine done two days ago ended up taking it out because it was done too high up close to the urethra so now gotta wait a month to get it properly placed :( Luckily doesn't hurt as bad as I expected just a real bummer to need to get it redone. Thankfully already have a healed PA but man...it sucks I'm super picky about where it was put. I dont know if I should try a different place to get it redone.
I basically have this but I don't I have rpa and pa I like how they look separately don't much care for the look of the apadravua. So I keep my rpa and pa as separate piercings.
I got a Prince Albert years ago and I had an internal tear due to rapid stretching , it now makes it kind of uncomfortable to get intimate with the jewelry. I was thinking about going with an apadrayvia so I will have extra reinforcement while wearing jewelry. Would this be a good way to go about it since I already have a Prince Albert.
So I just watched your video. I'm considering this piercing but the healing period seems to be very annoying. And the fact that some partners might not like it isn't making getting it easier,as I'm currently single. Do you happen to know if there's people who have written on day to day healing the apadrayva over let's say two or three months. Or near to that? I've already got a PA. I'm uncut. Got another abandoned PA too but it's got so much scarring tissue that I had to abandon it and it'll never close. Can it be done so I wear a ring in my PA and something else in the upper part? Are there some kind of plastic retainers for this piercing? When and how can masturbation happen? How do you clean this and how often? Will pee come out on the upper part (reverse PA) of the penis?
I got mine about 3 years ago and it is by far my favorite mod. Took a long time (over a year) to fully heal but getting it didn't hurt as much as I had feared. Maybe 8/10 for pain. The free bleeding for days afterwards was kind of scary, and it was extremely difficult to get the barbell sizing right. If it's too long it hurts during sex. Too short and it pinches. Trying to maintain an erection while taking measurements with digital calipers was impossible. Had to try about 8 different barbells to get it just right. So overall, a huge project but well worth it.
Hey. Thanks for great videos! I'm considering getting this piercing. From before I've got two pa holes. Two because I abonded one of the pa's since there was too much scar tissue when I had jewelry in. I talked to a piercer who said it was possible to make it go away by wear very thin rings for a long time and gradually going up but I gave up on it and got a new instead that was located at a better spot. The new one did also unfortunately get a bit of scar tissue but not so much. It's okay most of the time and there has rarely been pain after sex - (the pain is only after too much self stimulation, anyway it's off topic). My questions are: 1) Can I get a 100% new apadravya? I guess you'd have to see my piercings to answer that though... 2) is the healing time quicker to use one of the old pa's? 3) The healing time takes about 6 months and I can start having sex after about a month, if I'm correct. But in how long time can i change jewelry, to for example two rings? and lastly, can I only get a reverse PA that lines up with my pa and THEN use the two holes as an apadravya?
Placement will really depend on your anatomy and where the old piercings are. I'm not sure what you mean by scarring, so it is hard to say if it will be an issue. As far as sex, I've heard very mixed results. I think a month might be a good guess. The healing will be much longer than a PA. Yes, you could get a reverse PA but I don't think the angle, shape, and placement of the piercing would match. You would have issues taking a curved-shaped piercing and then putting in a straight barbell.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing I have scar tissue in the old hole. If I wear something in it for more than a few hours, it will come back quickly and be uncomfortable. It will never close either.

But your barbell is thinner, I would stretch to the next gauge with a ball that big. The idea of the piercing is too simulate the g spot. So theoretically a bigger ball would have great surface area to contact the g spot. Hope this helps. Girls love it.
I started at a 10g. Within the first year moved up to 8g. 6 months later 6g. By the end of the second year I went to 4g with 10mm ball. I've maintained that ever since. I just recently ordered a 2g w 10mm balls and taper. I recommend 4g as a good size because it is very sturdy and secure especially with large ball.
