Riding the GEORGIAN MILITARY HIGHWAY and challenging OFF ROAD (Ananuri, Jvari Pass, Truso Valley)

- In this episode of We Are Adventure Riders, we are riding the famous Georgian Military Road!
Picking up from the previous episode, we first complete the ride out of the Svaneti Region and down into Central Georgia where we camp near Ubisa. Then the following morning we ride the last 140km to reach our turning onto the Military Road, which leads all the way up to the Russian border.
While being a bit touristy and full of heavy traffic, the Military Road offers plenty to see and some unbelievable views as the road winds up into the Caucasus Mountains. We stop to explore the Ananuri Fortress Complex and the Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument.
Before reaching the Russian border, we turn off into Truso Valley for some afternoon off-road. What a stunning place! But we end up on a very steep, rocky track which we reluctantly decide is a bit too much and eventually turn back to find a camp on the valley floor.

Beautiful scenery must of seen some awesome places
As always, this was a joy to watch. Wisdom, as they say, is the better part of valor. It's never a shame to make a tactical retreat. That last little snippet of you dropping the bike makes me really anxious to see the next video. Stay safe, guys.

It really is an amazing county. We also knew nothing about Georgia when we crossed the border, but were surprised by how unique it was! Can't wait to go back!
