Since I started using it I have not had any cases of cocci. It promotes good gut health. Use 1 to 2 times a week.

Mr . Jackson . I have a question for you . my husband had a friend feed my 10 week old chick scratch grain n I find about 10 of them dead this morning . is the scratch grain why I lost them .??? Was mixing it with the chick starter
I don't think good grain would hurt them. My personal opinion is the grain was bad. Either old or mildew something like that I would suspect! They could have coci that is a common killer of young chicks. Hope this helps and good luck.

For those who use poultry nipples... Beware, the "mother" of the ACV will eventually clog up the poultry nipples... and they wont be able to get water to come out. So its good to give chickens more than just one water source.

Please see a veterinarian, one of our hens had similar issue. And it died because we didn't treat her properly. Also try to isolate the hens with the disease and those that don't as the disease is most likely contagious and also other chickens might bully her because she is sick. Also try putting 7-8 drops of multivitamin drops in their water. For e.g. we use zincovit, it has vitamins and minerals. The multivitamins may prolong their life, but the chickens may die if not treated properly. Also, I am no expert, I am only saying this based on my experience and what I have read about this disease.

Great question. I have never tried that. I always use garlic powder on the feed. I will use a small amount of canola oil put on feed (seed of course not pellets) and then mix well and feed to them. Alot of benefits for chickens and pigeons. Great question. I will look into this more. Thank you.

Some of my chickens have dirty bottoms. What could be wrong?
nicole galvan the hen sometimes have a high yeast problem. That causes it give them Apple cider vinegar for a week and it will clear it up.
They're needing to be wormed. Dirty bottoms is always a sign of worms/ parasites.
@@fionar1656 mix a quarter cup of diatomaceous earth in their feed per chicken. After the feed is gone repeat in 10 days then repeat again in 10 days and you should be fine.

Yes sir. I give a great quality feed along with fresh water daily and 1 to 2 times a week I give ACV.

No I dont use medicated feed. Just natural and stratch feed to supplement. Also I use oyster shell for calcium and add some minerals for them as well

Miryam MA sounds like coccidious The treatment I have read about that is said to be the best is to separate your chickens and then use Corid 9.6% liquid solution. The dosage is 9.5cc to a gallon of water for five days. And there is no withdrawal period. You do need to make a fresh batch every day, and keep him/her away from all the other chickens. Corid takes care of all 9 cocci that chickens could get.

Miryam MA Wazine will work also ivermicen will work. You have to act fast 5 days or so chicken will die. It's a parasite.
I am not a vet so I am just giving you what works for me. Only natural way is garlic powder, oregano to drinking water. Most of the time when they are in bad shape they don't want to eat or drink so a medicine in that case is the only way to treat. Search Google COCCIDIOUS IN chickens and you can look and see if others have had luck with something.
