Great video! Just picked up an EAD so the fun begins!
Thank you for the tips on the various set ups. Still trying to find the right "scene". Ill try out the Studio Rev for sure now.
One thing that I'm playing around with is using the Mono out with a splitter. 1 of the cables goes to a mixer for monitoring and the other to an iRig2 for video recording with the EAD audio. Pretty neat!

Thanks for that content. I bought this product to use on medium-sized stages. I did the installation carefully and connected the PA, but the kick drum sounds very bad. There is a box sound with feedback or something like that. I also tried with kick drums of different sizes, I tried methods such as tuning the drums to different sounds, but the result was negative. I would be very grateful if anyone has a solution for this problem, because I can't use the ead10 at all in this way.

Like I mentioned in the video, I use a Shure Beat 91a in my kick straight out to board. That combo works for me. The sound guy has complete control of the kick mic.

    Great video and timing Dan!
I have an EAD10 but haven't used it yet, it's been sitting on the shelf for a bit.
My bandmate and I have decided to upgrade our PA system and plan on setting it up in a couple of days. The system includes a new Mackie Profx12v3+ mixer, so now I have room for the EAD10. Do you know if there would be benefit, or even if ok to do so, to using both the left and right outputs from the EAD10 and pluging into the left and right line inputs of one of the dual channels such as the 5/6 or 7/8 channels on our particular mixer? Thanks.

Thank you so much. I never did that nor did I ever feel a need to. Unless you’re running a stereo mix, I’m not sure that the benefit would be. But it certainly would be an interesting experiment. I say, try it!

Tried mine for first time live, tried arena turned down effects, sounded boxey and hollow not good, ended up close miking. The D112 sounded way better in the bass drum, bit worried I’ve wasted money buying this thing was looking for a clean drum sound with just the 2 inputs to the mixer.

How much bleed do you get from the other instruments on stage?

Dan, so you actually use the EAD10 live with the band? I've seen other users claim that there are significant problems with feedback when doing this...have you experienced that problem?

Yes, every gig. And no issues at all. And I haven’t made any adjustments to levels. All default. Now, if you play one up and your ride cymbal is close to the sensor unit, you’ll get a lot of ride. Here’s a video with me playing live with the EAD.

@DanRHDrumChannel wow, thanks, that's very helpful! I do play in that configuration often but I'm sure I could make this work.
