Thanks Andre. Before we upgraded, we scoured youtube for videos on the Premium Club service and very little of any interest came up. That's the reason why I made this short film of our experience, so hopefully to inform others. Thanks for your kind words
We always travel premium club when going long haul fights. It’s more comfortable and definitely worth its price You get fast service as well as very looked after They give the children a easy and calm flight and make sure they are ok at all times They even offer a teddy with a pack of jelly beans After my experience in premium, it’s now a reality to travel like that Don’t forget I’m only 12 and I can say myself that the services best I’ve ever had. Next year will be my 6th time in premium Thanks for the amazing video You shared your opinion on how you live for the experience Thank you very much Well looking forward to next year😉
Thanks for posting this, my wife and i really enjoyed seeing the seating arrangements and as a result we have also booked seats 1A and 1C for out flights to and from Costa Rica next September (2017). Thomson now allow you to book seats when you upgrade as of 17/11/16 and our seats were booked 10 minutes after I received an e mail from them to that effect.
Can't wait, second time myself and the missus have flown premium, but before we were at the back on the row of 3, this time we're right where you're sat :D it's so worth upgrading
Top notch video, detailing everything that we needed to know, and some of the things that we didn’t realise that we needed to know. No pissing about, no flowery nonsense. Just proper information that helped cement our decision to upgrade to Premium for our flight to Cancun in June. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for this..really hope we get the leg rest..have booked 1 g and j..the other window as a and c gone..hubby is 6ft 2 and I'm 5f 0 lol..hopefully he will be fine. Its says we can now watch our own downloads too as has a plug....hope so..thanks for your video as its been the best so far..I go march 2024..did have row 2 but this had me change the seats ...just hope no queues too close to us for the toilet.
Thanks for the video not flying until mid 2016 but is my first holiday in 15 years and choose to upgrade to the Premium Club and am glad in doing so after watching this. I have watched your video about 8 or 9 times out of excitement. Peace.
Brilliant video thanks. I’ve booked these actual seats for next February to Barbados. Exactly the kind of video I’ve been looking for. Shows everything I wanted. Made me more excited than I was already. Looks well worth the extra expense 👍
That makes me happy. I've just booked them exact seats same spot and everything for my costa rica holiday next year and I'm 6ft 3 so I've got tons of leg room.
Yes it was more than sufficient. They also handed out Cornettos towards the end of the flight but I'd put the camera away by then. Surprised they stayed frozen for 8hrs!
This is brilliant! Will be going on the dreamliner for the first time in a couple of months and have booked the same seats. Was excited before, can't wait now!
loved watching the video of premium cabin. we'll be flying late this year on our dream holiday. it's on my bucket list and it'll be loving every minute
thank you for sharing this made my day knowing you had a fantastic flight we take our first trip on the dreamliner next year for our honeymoon to Mexico thanks again
excellent video, not much you can add. been on the Dreamliner Premium twice now Dominican & Mexico can't fault it. Will be flying premium to Jamaica in five weeks time, always gets the holiday off to a good start. got the two front seats by the window on the other side.
+Jay Duthie honesty it was the best thing that ever happend to me ask what the plane is coud and if it is called alfie then you have flew in the same plane as me :)
Hello, it was very good. Pilot was sat in premium as we were boarding saying hi to us, flight crew were fantastic, they stole our miles of smiles bear and my camera for some selfies in the galley and on the flight deck. Great memories. Will book premium again in a heart beat.
For less than 10% of the total cost of the long-haul holiday, we thought it was worth it. If we were told we could spend an extra day at the resort and fly economy instead, I'd have to refuse and go Premium.
february 2016 is my 60th and i am off to goa so to see the dreamliner now i know what to expect i have booked the premium and i feel this will be a wonderful experience. thanks for the video at least i now know where the plug ins are
You have even showed our seats! :) we are on the Dreamliner this Thursday to Florida and i'm such a nervous flyer. It does look good though. Thanks for the video x
I'm going to St Lucia in 2025 and have selected 1G for my outbound journey, and the bulkhead in front doesn't bother me since I'm only 5ft 2; it might be restrictive for the taller person though. Return journey I had to go back a couple of rows to 3G since all of row 1 has been taken - annoying! But again, for me it's more about the seat width rather than the legroom since I'm a curvy lady. I'm beyond excited to return to an island that I visited for the day 4 years ago on a cruise.
I struggle with bulkhead seats too. Not enough legroom to stretch my legs completely. I'd rather get a seat or row 2 onwards so that at least I can slip my feet under the seat in front (even though it means you have someone else's seat in your face when they recline). Great review! Thanks for sharing.
Good video. I am travelling to Cancun in February and have seat 1F but couldn't find much info on the front seats and wondered how I'd get that screen up lol. Legroom looks good. Thanks for the info.
We flew from Cancun to Manchester in July 2015 and were seated in seats 1a and 1c,but we didn't have the leg rests and it became very uncomfortable. The new tv system of touch screen isn't as good as the older style one with a cable, as you have to stretch to actually use it.Premium economy is the way to go though, because from start to finish you are treated like royalty. The Dreamliner is definitely the way to fly in my opinion and thanks for the informative video.
Thomson were gradually upgrading the seating in the cabins on the Dreamliner around that time so it's quite possible you got one of the aircraft that was yet to be refurbished. Glad you found the video useful.
Your a credit to the Thomson 787 Dreamliner Premium Club. 09:24 " I`m alright for water, I prefer the wine" Good lad :)) This product is as close as you get to regular Business Class. Ace video, really enjoyed it, thanks.
Looks great, I went on the Dreamliner this year, in May on economy to Cancun, but after looking at your video have booked for premier to Costa Rica (for next May), definitely worth the extra, its a main part of your holiday. ps its great it has a plug socket, as I have sleep apnea, and means I can plug my cpap machine in and get a sleep on the way back. Thanks again for posting :)
Thanks for sharing this with us it’s our first time long haul. So interesting to see what to expect, we are flying out to Cancun 1/10/16. Nice one great video.
You're welcome. Have a great time. The missus wants to do Mexico for her 40th next year. Let me know where you stayed and if it's suitable for couples (no kids lol) ;)
Great and informative video as just upgraded for florida next May. This may be a strange question but when watching a movie can you link it with your partners or would you just have to start it at the same time?
+stu Kaz You'd have to be really accurate on the starting of both movies I think lol It's not even worth buying a 3.5mm splitter for the headphones either as they're the 2-pin type... and one of you would have to crane your neck to see the screen anyway if you plan on watching from the same screen. I know what you mean though. Remember, these are only the Row 1 screens. The other rows in Premium have the TV's in the back of the seat in front.
flew on the Dreamliner to cancun, premium is a bit overpriced, I found the legroom and service in economy to be very good and had no complaints!! very comfy flight which I found outclassed a lot of airlines that I have flown with!! To all those about to fly on the Dreamliner, I am dead jealous!!!!!!
I don't know if anyone this read this but wanted to book row 1 and Thomson said these are reserved for disabled and we would need a medical note from our dr to book a row 1 seat. Has rules changed since this video was made?
+MissMarple1967 That's a new one on me! You used to have to go to their "flightextras" page 90 days before the return flight to book your seats. Try asking Angie on TripAdvisor to see if they've changed the rules.... www.tripadvisor.co.uk/members-forums/Angelina52
Hi, I know this video is from a few years ago but thought I’d ask, the parts of your video that show take off/landing - the engine looks really close to where you’re sat. Is the video deceiving or is it that close? I’ve booked rows 3 & 4 and it’s got me concerned now that we may just be staring at the engine! Thanks. (great video by the way).
Hi Ben. Don't worry, the engines on the Dreamliner are mounted much farther back than they appear in the video. Due to the larger windows, I was able to position the camera in a way to get the left engine in shot at a much tighter angle than would've been possible with any other aircraft. Even in row 9 the engine isn't visible without purposely looking backwards. There's a great photo of a United Airlines Dreamliner on the United Hub if you Google that, that shows how far back the engines are from the front section.
in the middle isle of seats well the middle seat of a row of 3 seems to have 2 tables one on each side of the seat or is one of the table spaces a dummy table area as I'm confused over that particular arrangement
Thank you so much for doing this video for us and for sharing your experiences. Fantastic footage and really helps in making an opinion on whether to upgrade or not. I am on the fence. I expected the premium cabin to be a bit more luxury. Don't get me wrong it looks and feels miles better than economy but I expected more for the £199 surplus or whatever they charge. What a big difference your candid video is from the promotional video they make. That's why I am very grateful for your video. I think that whether I choose premium or economy on the dreamliner, my flight experience is going to be as horrid as usual and I am going to feel stuck no matter which cabin I choose so I might just as well choose the "cheapo" one. Boo :( I bloody hate flying. Not scared or anything like that but the seats always feel so damn hard and constricting. xx
Thanks for the feedback. You definitely don't feel cramped on the 787, even economy looked roomy. It's a personal choice whether you upgrade, and we always do on flights over 6hrs. And for only an additional 7% of our total holiday price (in our case) it worked out quite a bargain.
Got these exact seats too, in 2 weeks time. Looks as if , at 6'3" I'll need the extra leg-room - doesn't seem to be that much in the other seats - 11 hours of cramp!!
You used to have to wait until midnight 14 days before the return flight, but I've just checked the TUI Ts&Cs and yes you can now reserve the Premium club seats at the time of booking. If you google "premium club seat booking tui", it's the first result.
we have just got back from Florida, flying in the same seats , the interior of the plane was grubby and needed a really good clean. the films were not updated as i thought they would be. the service was superb, no difference in my opinion to cabin air than a 747, the seats were not very comfortable, was it worth the price, in my opinion no
Hi there! I'm travelling to Aruba from London in a few weeks time. I struggle to breathe on flights tho. Does the "fresher and more oxygen filled cabin" make a lot of difference to you with breathing better? Loved the video! :)
I definitely felt less claustrophobic on the 787 as opposed to the 767. Whether that's to do with the larger cabin or cleaner air, I'm unsure. Although I know what you mean as when I travel on flights that use an Airbus (usually A320 or A321) I do find myself more often short of breath. Good question! I'd love to see some facts & figures from an independent air quality survey on different types of aircraft in flight.
good video.just booked our holiday and was debating on upgrading to premium.although this video is good its just not worth 250 quid each.iv done premium before again it wasnt worth that money for real cutlery and ear plugs, which i can get thousands from work
I hope you're not condoning stealing from your employer? ;) lol For us working-class northerners it was just a taste of the high-life, and in our opinion, worth every penny for a special long-haul holiday to the caribbean ;)
+peterinnewashgreen that's up to thomsons/first choice as to what media-bumph they wash your brain with.... I always have a few movies on my mobile to watch on a flight just in case ;)
Nasty looking deal.... A sort of premium economy.. still probably better than the economy seating... the aircraft is the best part as it has the least dry cabins..
those rolls looked mouth watering especially the cheese one which was called a 3 cheeses and pickle but I don't really care for 3 different cheeses on the same sarnie lol
+MikesMovies Shorter seat pitch in economy meaning a little less legroom, smaller tv's with less choice of movies/shows, only drinks WITH MEALS are included (regardless of the fact their magazine states "Free drinks on all flights"...) meals are served in the usual foil containers with regular airline-safe cutlery and paper cups, no exceptional service times due to the numbers of passengers, and the queues for the toilets were longer in economy (People kept trying to sneak in and use the Premium ones, but were turned back by the crew)
+Oscar Neill Yes. All drinks throughout the flight are free in Premium with the exception of Champagne. Obviously, if you have "a few too many" they can refuse you service for the safety of the aircraft. Also note that if you ask for, or are seen taking, medication (such as aspirin, paracetamol etc) they can also refuse to serve you alcoholic drinks. This became known to me when after boarding the return flight and asking for some painkillers for agonising toothache, I was informed that they then could NOT serve me any alcohol (once the pain had subsided). Gutted! I was like.... ruclips.net/video/_rfEcqhLGQQ/видео.html
+TurtleBear USB "ports" are available to use, but only document files, photos and mp3s are supported (not video files, which is a pity) You have to provide your own USB stick/dongle/thingymajig whatever you wish to call it. Unsure about USB ports in economy. Try searching the TripAdvisor air travel forums.
great review! I've shown this to my partner so many times to convince him that we should book premium cabin for our honeymoon, and he agreed! :D Did you have to pay extra for seats 1A + 1C?
Glad I could help. Be sure to let them know it's your honeymoon. To bag particular seats you need to log into Thomson or First Choice's (depending who you booked with) flightextras website at midnight 90 days before your return flight date. That's when the seat plans become available for you to book your seat numbers. We kept refreshing the page every 10 seconds and at 8 mins past midnight the seat plan opened and we were the 1st to book seats so got 1A & 1C that we wanted. Enjoy your flight and congratulations.
+elsmeghead accidentally used my fiances page last night! apologies! we'll definitely let them know we'll be celebrating our honeymoon! Thank you for your advice it's greatly appreciated! If we are travelling for 3 weeks we'll probably lose the chance to book them that early for our outbound flight? Seats 1A + 1C look awesome!
+Ashley Sinclair Yeah that's one of the downfalls with the seatplan opening 90days from the RETURN flight... we could only get 2A & 2C on the way back because they were already taken... I even said on the TripAdvisor forum that we'd be kicking their seatbacks all the way to Manchester lol
As an American I love learning about English slang. I've never heard of "Naff", I had to look it up. So everyone outside of the greater London area is considered a bumpkin i.e. "Hick" or Chav? That flight is packed to the gills.
Springbok295 It takes many an ingredient to make a good Paella ;) That's the beauty of the English Language... in the mid 1980's in North Yorkshire it became popular to say "Nat dat" instead of "I can't" but it died out within months. Sometimes colloquialisms stick. The language is always evolving and it fascinates me :) If you ever get stuck on a word, google "Urban Dictionary" haha
elsmeghead How geographically widespread was "Nat dat" used during those months? My senior year in high school 85-86 we'd say "Am doing" to mean 'I'm not going to do that' or "Shall not...." to mean that you were going to do such and such. There were quite a few phrases essentially saying one thing but meaning the opposite. Another popular word one would say is "Care" which meant that you didn't care/mind about something.
I'm flying in premium class next September and me and my partner would love the Front seats like you and your partner had. Did you go online and book them and how early on the day did you log on to secure those seats?
We logged into the flightextras website 90 days before the date of our return flight (Google "calculate days before date" for the website we used to work it out). Just before midnight we logged in and kept hitting F5 (refresh) until the choose seats button highlighted (about 2 or 3 mins past if I recall)
We are flying end of august. If you book premium seats you can book them straight away as we have done. We are in seat row one, right side of the plane. Roll on. Booking 90 days b4 your return journey is for economy.
It's like £365pp extra?! Really don't think it's worth it if you look at the two classes put together you get 4 inches more legroom and an extra meal... Lol
+Georgia Painting I go with United around Europe and everywhere. I usually go with economy plus. Most flights have wifi and TVs. In economy you still get wifi and a tv. Though they chrage for it. $4.60 a hour. All United flights and all of their seats recline! Even on economy! I'd recommend United. Or Delta.
Hi all!! first off great video. Just some information for you all....thomson dreamliner is making some changes to the premium club. This video is showing off the new and improved premium section. The old one had tv's coming out of all the arms, on all the row's and now it is just row 1 as you do not have a seat infront of you. This makes the seats wider for more comfort. some dreamliners still have the old style though but all chnages should be made by the 1st november 2015. You now also get an airport lounge included ( UK ONLY ). I am flying premium next month and cannot wait. If anyone has any questions about the premium Club feel free to leave a reply on my comment.
May I add that the lounge is NOT guaranteed. If 2 Dreamliner flights are due to depart within a few hours of each other, the 1st flight out gets the lounge and the 2nd flight gets £15 of vouchers per person instead to use at restaurants airside. This happened to us and subsequent passengers (commenting on TripAdvisor forums) The Manchester to Cancun flight always takes the lounge and Punta Cana gets the vouchers as Cancun flight departs 15 min earlier!
Correction. All long haul flights from manchester airport do recieve lounge access apart from Dom Rep and Jamacia. This has nothing to do with wether the fight is going first or second.
sounds like the girl at check-in was trying to make an excuse. so i flying next month in premium. do all the seats have the foot rest coming up from under your seat as you show around 4:20, im on row 4 so was wondering if they were all the same?
Just booked Premium Economy from Glasgow to Sanford for next year. I have seen a few pics which appear to show adjustable legrests in the premium seating - can anyone advise if this is correct (I'm just under 5 foot and feet dont touch the ground normally, this will save me bringing a pillow to put them on lol)
I would advise you book your seats on row 1 if it's still available for your flight, as you can see on my video you get full leg support from the raising legrests on row 1. If memory serves, the other rows have footrests that drop from the back of the seat in front. This is of course assuming that the interior of the aircraft hasn't been updated or changed over the last 2 years. Also, similar aircraft may have different interiors.
ANDY, omfg... the date of this video is Jul 16, 2015.... at the 8:06 mark, the crackers package has a "Best Before Date" of 07 11 15 (July 11/15).... expired by 5 days!!! and you lived to tell about it....- stay tuned for more "would you eat it" on my channel.... lol
Jeff d'Hedouville Thanks. I tried to address all the questions that people were asking on the tripadvisor forums... What's the food like? What's the legroom like? What movies are there? etc.
6:32 you question the spelling of ''Travelled''. This is because its the American spelling. Because Boeing is an American company they will have the American spelling on the entertainment.
Your logic is irrefutable. But I'm one of those people that can't resist pointing out a spelling mistake. I annoy my American Facebook friends with it all the time ;)
what kind a bloke records and reviews a premium class flight a bloody legend that's who. Nice 1, made my mind up
Thanks Andre. Before we upgraded, we scoured youtube for videos on the Premium Club service and very little of any interest came up. That's the reason why I made this short film of our experience, so hopefully to inform others.

Thanks @kackhanded glad to have helped you decide. (Oh, and we all got free Cornettos too but I forgot to film that)
El Smeghead - schoolboy error!
kackhanded I was too busy thinking how they kept 50+ cornettos frozen for 7 hours into a flight 🤣

You're welcome. Have a great time. The missus wants to do Mexico for her 40th next year. Let me know where you stayed and if it's suitable for couples (no kids lol) ;)
Great vid! One of the best flight reviews I've seen
Thank you Steve
Great Video I will be sitting in the same seat when I go to Florida
Thanks for this, very informative, we fly in a few weeks
They also brought us round Cornettos before landing. Have a great flight!
I'm going from Gateick in Premium in December so thank god it's got good seats
im flying same airline to go to dreams la romana punta cana in april, looks awesome, flying from gatwick!! always go premium to caribean!
+Richard Bloomfield We stayed at DLR too :) Upgraded to Adults Only Preferred Club. Well worth the upgrade too!!
traveled and travelled are both correct.Traveled is normally used in the USA.The same as color and colour are used.
Great and informative video as just upgraded for florida next May. This may be a strange question but when watching a movie can you link it with your partners or would you just have to start it at the same time?
+stu Kaz You'd have to be really accurate on the starting of both movies I think lol
It's not even worth buying a 3.5mm splitter for the headphones either as they're the 2-pin type... and one of you would have to crane your neck to see the screen anyway if you plan on watching from the same screen.
I know what you mean though.
Remember, these are only the Row 1 screens. The other rows in Premium have the TV's in the back of the seat in front.
Thought that would be the case, just wondered if you could sync the 2 together to watch the same thing
flew on the Dreamliner to cancun, premium is a bit overpriced, I found the legroom and service in economy to be very good and had no complaints!! very comfy flight which I found outclassed a lot of airlines that I have flown with!! To all those about to fly on the Dreamliner, I am dead jealous!!!!!!
Fab video :) can't wait to fly premium
Natasha Slee FAB!??!?!? xD ahhh ok i understand you ;) xD
Just booked those exact seats Cheers:)
Enjoy your flight.
Where are you going on holiday and where
Cause I booked 1 h and 1 j
+Suchfun It's in the description
+elsmeghead sorry didn't see , Great thanks👍😀
Hi , great video :)
Did the screens being lower hurt your neck during at the flight ? Thanks x
Not at all. The screens are adjustable and they have extra pillows and blankets should you need them to prop your head up.
Thank you for replying:)
I have these seats booked and that was the only thing bothering me . Thanks for the info :) x
Try asking Angie on TripAdvisor to see if they've changed the rules....
www.tripadvisor.co.uk/members-forums/Angelina52
great video. thanks for posting it!
Excellent video, so helpful, thank you
Hi, I know this video is from a few years ago but thought I’d ask, the parts of your video that show take off/landing - the engine looks really close to where you’re sat.
There's a great photo of a United Airlines Dreamliner on the United Hub if you Google that, that shows how far back the engines are from the front section.
you watched home I love that film!
in the middle isle of seats well the middle seat of a row of 3 seems to have 2 tables one on each side of the seat or is one of the table spaces a dummy table area as I'm confused over that particular arrangement
+elsmeghead and just like that you have convinced me :) I think i am going to go for it. At 5ft2, it should feel reasonably roomy :) xx
Looks a good service
Yes it was. They even brought Cornettos round just before we landed.
How they kept them frozen for nearly 9 hours I’ll never know.
Great video mate thankyou !
Thank you Stacey
I went on a flight with Thomson and there was no premium club but it was a good experience all together
Got these exact seats too, in 2 weeks time. Looks as if , at 6'3" I'll need the extra leg-room - doesn't seem to be that much in the other seats - 11 hours of cramp!!
I'm 6'1". you'll be fine
Hi mate , when you book premium club can you choose you’re seats at the time of booking many thanks pal 👍
You used to have to wait until midnight 14 days before the return flight, but I've just checked the TUI Ts&Cs and yes you can now reserve the Premium club seats at the time of booking.
If you google "premium club seat booking tui", it's the first result.
I'm so jelly. We're flying to Corfu next year for Glasgow so I don't think we will have a dreamliner. It'll probably be a Boeing 737-800.
Thank you for sharing your video.
great video.,the row 1 D E F have same leg room or less?,thank you
it's the same
I always thought the tui Dreamliner was a 3/4/3 arrangement rather that 2/3/2 or is it just premium that’s like that
That's the premium layout as the seats are wider.
we have just got back from Florida, flying in the same seats , the interior of the plane was grubby and needed a really good clean. the films were not updated as i thought they would be. the service was superb, no difference in my opinion to cabin air than a 747, the seats were not very comfortable, was it worth the price, in my opinion no
I'd love to see some facts & figures from an independent air quality survey on different types of aircraft in flight.
iv been on the dreamliner its really good
good video.just booked our holiday and was debating on upgrading to premium.although this video is good its just not worth 250 quid each.iv done premium before again it wasnt worth that money for real cutlery and ear plugs, which i can get thousands from work
I hope you're not condoning stealing from your employer? ;) lol
For us working-class northerners it was just a taste of the high-life, and in our opinion, worth every penny for a special long-haul holiday to the caribbean ;)
Great video. Thanks guys. We go early September 2019 and are flying premium (4A & 4C) from Gatwick. Can’t wait now :-)
You are offering The Daily Mail as a freebie. Unacceptable . So disappointed.
lol you're a Daily Star reader like me then?
+elsmeghead is that still a thing? But, excited to fly the 787 in August. Please, no nasty newspapers!
Hi in economy club the headphone jack is it the double type or single? ta
Let's Talk Retro I'm not sure, sorry
Interesting, what is the standard class like?
+MikesMovies Shorter seat pitch in economy meaning a little less legroom, smaller tv's with less choice of movies/shows, only drinks WITH MEALS are included (regardless of the fact their magazine states "Free drinks on all flights"...) meals are served in the usual foil containers with regular airline-safe cutlery and paper cups, no exceptional service times due to the numbers of passengers, and the queues for the toilets were longer in economy (People kept trying to sneak in and use the Premium ones, but were turned back by the crew)
+elsmeghead is it free drinks for the WHOLE flight for premium club? ie Travelling to Mexico
+TurtleBear USB "ports" are available to use, but only document files, photos and mp3s are supported (not video files, which is a pity)
You have to provide your own USB stick/dongle/thingymajig whatever you wish to call it.
Unsure about USB ports in economy. Try searching the TripAdvisor air travel forums.
Thanks Jay
Seems like a great product Thomson has here considering it is a charter airline.
Would you say row 1 has more legroom than rest of seats? It’s doesn’t look like it to me
I’m 6’1” and had more than enough legroom. Also we didn’t have the worry of someone reclining back in front of us into our space.
El Smeghead ok im hopefully going to orlando next year and this is good to know. So would you say row 1 is best seats overall on dreamliner? Thanks
Just for the fact you don’t have a seat back in front of you giving you more of a sense of openness (I do suffer from claustrophobia) then yes.
I'm going next September and I REALLY REALLY want to sit at the front
im going to Mexico on this 2018 payd for the best seats there look class can u sleep on them seat
great review!
+elsmeghead Forgot to add, no there's no additional charge for any particular seats in Premium.
When you plug in the usb can you watch your own videos stored on the usb or is it just music and pictures?
LewisBen247 nah. just photos (jpg) .
and .mp3s
Do they all have tv in the back of each chair ?
Kelly Hanlon Yes. except the front rows where they're stored in the armrests.
As an American I love learning about English slang. I've never heard of "Naff", I had to look it up. So everyone outside of the greater London area is considered a bumpkin i.e. "Hick" or Chav?
That flight is packed to the gills.
Springbok295 It takes many an ingredient to make a good Paella ;)
That's the beauty of the English Language... in the mid 1980's in North Yorkshire it became popular to say "Nat dat" instead of "I can't" but it died out within months. Sometimes colloquialisms stick. The language is always evolving and it fascinates me :)
If you ever get stuck on a word, google "Urban Dictionary" haha
elsmeghead How geographically widespread was "Nat dat" used during those months? My senior year in high school 85-86 we'd say "Am doing" to mean 'I'm not going to do that' or "Shall not...." to mean that you were going to do such and such. There were quite a few phrases essentially saying one thing but meaning the opposite. Another popular word one would say is "Care" which meant that you didn't care/mind about something.
Springbok295 Used to hear it just around the Thirsk & Northallerton area.. around 30sq miles
Everyone outside Londonstan is not a chav or hick... just so ya know :)
Nice airplane Love it
gnuh o
I'm flying in premium class next September and me and my partner would love the Front seats like you and your partner had. Did you go online and book them and how early on the day did you log on to secure those seats?
We logged into the flightextras website 90 days before the date of our return flight (Google "calculate days before date" for the website we used to work it out). Just before midnight we logged in and kept hitting F5 (refresh) until the choose seats button highlighted (about 2 or 3 mins past if I recall)
Thank you very mush i was saying to my partner that i will be on the computer at midnight. glad you were thinking the same way and it worked 👍😀
Yeah we did that twice. I could almost picture 40 people at their computers doing the same thing to bag the seats first lol
yeah me too think I will make a big cup of coffee so I can stay awake and beat any others trying to get them seats haha
We are flying end of august. If you book premium seats you can book them straight away as we have done. We are in seat row one, right side of the plane. Roll on. Booking 90 days b4 your return journey is for economy.
how much is premium club as we are flying on the 21st july and we want to go to premium club
It's like £365pp extra?! Really don't think it's worth it if you look at the two classes put together you get 4 inches more legroom and an extra meal... Lol
+Georgia Painting can you recline?
+Georgia Painting I go with United around Europe and everywhere. I usually go with economy plus. Most flights have wifi and TVs. In economy you still get wifi and a tv. Though they chrage for it. $4.60 a hour. All United flights and all of their seats recline! Even on economy! I'd recommend United. Or Delta.
yes.
Hi all!! first off great video.
This happened to us and subsequent passengers (commenting on TripAdvisor forums)
The Manchester to Cancun flight always takes the lounge and Punta Cana gets the vouchers as Cancun flight departs 15 min earlier!
Correction. All long haul flights from manchester airport do recieve lounge access apart from Dom Rep and Jamacia. This has nothing to do with wether the fight is going first or second.
+WMGames That's not what the girl on check-in told us.
sounds like the girl at check-in was trying to make an excuse. so i flying next month in premium. do all the seats have the foot rest coming up from under your seat as you show around 4:20, im on row 4 so was wondering if they were all the same?
+WMGames Row 1 is the only one with the leg rests. The other foot rests come down from the seat in front.
isn't that screen too low to watch a video without neck pain?
No, we were fine.
I'm seat 1A on a trip to Cuba 👍
Zeus Canine Enjoy! I promise I didn’t leave the seat in a mess
Thank you!
I DIDN'T SEE ANY VIDEO OF THE MILE HIGH CLUB.
Trust me, that’s something that you wouldn’t WANT to see, Rob! 🤣
Haha your like my dad for the wine 👍👍👍👍 have loves a few glasses
he I meant
Nice legroom !
where did you go in punta cana
dreams la romana in Bayahibe. This was our second time there.
elsmeghead woah haha 2 years ago I commented on this vid ay I’m going Dominican Republic this Christmas lucky me
+Stephen Cotterill Enjoy!!
ANDY, omfg... the date of this video is Jul 16, 2015.... at the 8:06 mark, the crackers package has a "Best Before Date" of 07 11 15 (July 11/15).... expired by 5 days!!! and you lived to tell about it....- stay tuned for more "would you eat it" on my channel.... lol
We were away for 2 weeks and it took me over a week to get round to editing it 🤣
Trust me, they were in date at the time of filming.
Good eye though 👌
Anyway, we format our dates differently here, so the expiry date would’ve actually been 7th November. 15 (7/11/15) 😂
Where were you flying too?
Its in the description. MAN - PUJ
elsmeghead I am sorry. I missed that. You did a great job with your video.
Jeff d'Hedouville Thanks. I tried to address all the questions that people were asking on the tripadvisor forums... What's the food like? What's the legroom like? What movies are there? etc.
+elsmeghead there is cetain movie on the way there and back isnt there
You did a great job elsmeghead.
I ´ll make the same flight from BRU to PUJ with Jetairfly Dreamliner 787 OO-JDL "Diamond ". Visible on RUclips in octobre 2016
6:32 you question the spelling of ''Travelled''. This is because its the American spelling. Because Boeing is an American company they will have the American spelling on the entertainment.
Your logic is irrefutable. But I'm one of those people that can't resist pointing out a spelling mistake. I annoy my American Facebook friends with it all the time ;)
Haha, I do the same sometimes :)
C&S Aviatio
Yes it is the American way, but the video is based on Thomson, German based.
