    I’ve been watching this channel for months (since I was about three months into Etsy), and this is the most useful Etsy channel on RUclips. Because of his advice I was able to go from 30 sales to almost 500 sales in about 4 months. So glad I found this channel

    One year late to the comments and many things may have changed. I have up to 70 listings with no sales yet. But I’ve done this over the past 2 months. Have no been listing fast. I’m finally comfortable with listing 😅. Many of the listings I duplicated and changed titles tags as it’s for different topics. I’m POD and have bags, journals mostly. I havnt quiet niched down except maybe to a type of audience. I have so much more to learn even at 70.

    Hi Nick, after reviving my Etsy store and watching your videos last summer, I faded away a bit, but now I'm back and just want to say you're the best, so glad I've tuned in to you again - I'm going to stick around this time and really get my Etsy shop going - also plan to get regular sales with help like this video (and the rest!) from you. Most other Etsy RUclipsrs only want to sell you something in the end, but now - thanks to you - I've got some meaningful work to do in the morning putting this list of tips into action - and it's free! Fantastic, really appreciate what you do and how you do it - so straightforward, plus your videos are never too long!👍

    I am on Etsy for 4 years. Handmade knitted Gnomes. I was so busy to make them and just now started looking videos about Etsy on RUclips. I was kind of doing things right but not everything. It was good enough and I didn't need to do extra steps to make sales. But things are slowing down.... I liked your video!! Amazing tips and to the point!!! I subscribed your channel. I am sure I will see good points in future. I do not like those videos where they talk about earnings of 100 K . It doesn't apply to me. Question - First, thank you for the refreshing Etsy lesson. I understand now why I shouldnt waste time on keyword tools to determine Demand, but should I consider Supply? No matter how many others are selling a similar product, do I focus only on competing with the top sellers and ignore the numbers of listings when considering niches and products?

      Hi Nick, I am a bit confused here. You always say to list only 1 new listing per day.
      Here you say to make duplicates of 5 listings that are selling, Change the photo and one word of SEO and publish the 5 so you now have 5 new listings. Should you publish 1 per day or the whole 5 together?
      Also when you edit the listings, Is there a limit as to how many you should edit each day? Thanks. I Love your videos.

    Hi Nick! I found your channel just a week ago and I make sure I watch one video per day. My goodness I have learned more in this past week than I have for the past two years. This particular video is a goldmine. I saw one of your replies that said even if you don’t have twenty of an item in inventory to put twenty anyway. That scares me but I’m going to follow your lead. 😂. Question: I read or heard in someone else’s channel to renew all your listings every three weeks. Your comments on this is much appreciated. I would love to have you critique my store but not until I get 100 items in there ! (I only have 31). I am a pattern designer but also carry supplies. Not enough though. That is what I’ll be working on . Thank you for channel. It is most helpful.

    Good tips, as always! I did want to comment that I currently have my 1 year old store set to manual renewals, specifically to force me to visually go over each and every listing as it comes up for renewal. I check for views, sales, etc, and then (if needed) update whatever needs help - photos, tags, title, description, image alt tags. When I had it on auto-renew, these things would just not get done. So I find manual renew an easy way to keep my listings updated without it becoming overwhelming.

    • @etsyconsultant
      @etsyconsultant  Год назад +5

      Thanks for your input here. Yes this is fine from a practicality point of view, but if it goes out of stock you are breaking the sales history and lowering your listing quality score, so bear that in mind.

    Hi Nik. I always value your videos because you give the best advice for our Etsy store. However in this video and under point #4 you emphasize the importance of having duplicate listings. As an artist, I am puzzled about that. I feel is like asking Leonardo da Vinci to dublicate the Mona Lisa. How can I dublicate my inspiration? How can I design a piece of jewelry and make it 10-20 times? The dublicate listings is very challenging to me. However, I will wait for your advise... Thank you again for a superb video.

      @@etsyconsultant I followed your advice of changing listing names, adding photo descriptions, getting a more uniform theme, etc. (I watched your video on the store with 1000 items.)
      I started selling immediately. I listed a new item and sold it in one hour.
      I have been selling 2 or 3 a day and I'm working steadily toward getting my 100 items added. I'm also going to add videos like you suggested.
      Your advice works. Thank you.

I will do what you said...and I do have 21 listing (only 3 have sold...and that was to my family (without my Titles, and my Tags...well, they are completely WRONG). I sincerely want to thank you...and will let you know how things are working...in about 2-3 weeks). (Will it take that long to get ETSY to relook at my store?) No matter, I will do what is necessary. What is your specific recommendation for seasonal items? Should they be deactivated, or does one need to remove them completely from the shop? Also same Q. in regards to poor sellers? TY!
