Super impressed with this tiny gimbal! What is your favourite gimbal mode? Tried something different with this video: ruclips.net/video/CfYLw_XGCiA/видео.html
It's amazing, I am a very impressed with Crane M2 S. It is small and powerful but it seems to be able to handle fairly large cameras. The auto-calibration system takes about 10 seconds to finish the balancing. The build in LED light is great idea it helps with indoor and low light.
I have a7c with tamron 17-28 as well. Does the footage are fully usable immediately with the gimbal or does it need extra post stabilization? How is the stabilization directly from the gimbal?
I've always wanted a tiny gimbal with a fill light, the Crane M3 is a bit expensive for me, now the Crane M2S is coming, thank you for your video, Mario
Thanks for the video. Have you had any problems with the tracking option in the app? I haven't gotten it to work, I select objects to track but the gimbal doesn't track them.
Given that an iPhone 13 Pro with a Moment/SmallRig/BeastGrip case and ND filter is too much for my aging Smooth 4 and not really heavy enough for my Webill 2, which would be the logical choice, M2. M2s or M3?
Good review, I like it. I bought this steadicam for my fujifilm x-s10 18-55. I balanced it well. But during operation, the motor of the pan axis is very hot. What can be done to keep the engine warm?
Hi, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I've been looking at this gimbal mainly because the se size/weight and price cause I'm more on the photography side of the business. I plan on using it with the a7iii and the tamron 17-28 2.8 and would like to know if with this combo balanced I can use the gimbal pointing forward without it being blocked by any part of the camera... After this time do you still recommend it to use with the setup I've mentioned? Thanks!
@MarioSoMedia I'm not planing on doing something more radical, it will be used on real estate and events only... I think I'll give it a chance and if I don't like it, I'll send it back... Thank you once again...
Thanks! Would it hold an iPhone 12 Pro Max with lens and filters? Does the record buttons and other physical controls work with the native iPhone camera app and/or Filmic Pro?
I guess I just have pretty bad luck, bought mine on Ebay (new) and it came out with a broken joystic base. After balancing and calibrating it with the 6 side calibration, I attempted to use it, but the horizon axis was rotated left like 10 degrees with the default position, so every time i double clicked the trigger it brough the camera to the rotated position off the horizon, when left alone, it started tilting the camera up slowly by itself. Had to send it to the factory for warranty, as the AH Ebay seller just ignored me, the shipping to the factory costed me 1/2 of the gimbal price because I'm outside of the US, and now the courier is having issues delivering it to the service center in CA. :( so frustrating.
how about the connection of an iphone 13 pro max, does the gimbal restrict the addition of a external microphone using the lightening port ? also what features are available with the iphone software app
Great video for someone like me who is planning to buy my first ever gimbal! (Or the M2) And I am just wondering, if it can balance perfectly with a7iii+tamron17-28, it should be no problem with my a7c+sigma 28-70, which is even lighter than the a7iii set up right?
That lens is probably too heavy for this gimbal. I used the Tamron 17-28 on the a7iii and it just barely makes it. The Tamron is almost half the weight as the Sigma.
Unfortunately the 28-75mm is too heavy and long for this gimbal. You're probably better off with the Weebill 2. The M3 might do the job but movements are a bit restricted.
@@MarioSoMediayas sir...I was going through their website to check approved lenses with A7III but unfortunately found there was no fe 85 f1.8 and 55 1.8 in the list which is my favourite lense.... actually I was looking for my first gimbal which is economical, easy to operate as well as compact.
I have Ronin SC, it is cheap only 279usd, very nice price. but it is too big for my daily video. Now I need to buy a campact gimbal , this M2s is 269 usd, is new model , seems acceptable.

Let's go Mario!!! That skateboard snowing sequence looked so cool. Free nature particle effect!
Thanks Se! Yeah better than stock overlays! 😂

Yeah it's so small and it can handle my a7iv!
Just ordered, The Crane M2s gimbal is really great for using with my Iphone 13 pro max and Sony a7c.
Yeah it would work great with both of those set ups!
I have a7c with tamron 17-28 as well. Does the footage are fully usable immediately with the gimbal or does it need extra post stabilization? How is the stabilization directly from the gimbal?
Looks like a good product! Thanks for your review.
Thank you!

+Helen Thanks for watching! And yeah the M2S is a good balance between strength, size and price!
Thanks for the video. Have you had any problems with the tracking option in the app? I haven't gotten it to work, I select objects to track but the gimbal doesn't track them.
Are you using your phone? I haven't tried it yet. They do have a new firmware upgrade that was just released. Maybe that could fix it.

I think either the M2s or M3. If you want a slightly smaller gimbal then the M2s.
Smooth 5 is also ok for iphone 13 pro, but only with small Moment lens
@@michaelfilmmaker2870 yeah that is good too.

That's interesting. Mine doesn't get warm at all. Maybe check with the manufacturer
@@MarioSoMedia ask the manufacturer. Thanks for the answer.
buen video...la cámara (a7iii) no necesita estar conectada por cable para grabar?...gracias por tu respuesta...deje mi like... ;)
Gracias! No es necesario conectar el cable ya que puedes grabar directamente presionando el botón de la camera.

Yeah I had no issues with the a7iv and the same Tamron lens. You just can't do certain moves that strain the motor. But pointing straight is fine.

@@DiogoReis awesome!

It can definitely hold the Pro Max. The record button isn't compatible with a phone as far as I know.
Fill light, the design touched my soul!!
Yeah it's a nice addition!

Oh no. I'm sorry you had that experience.
With the quick release are you able to connect the camera without re-balancing every time (presuming you keep the same lens used on initial balance)
Yes that's right!

Yeap this gimbal should handle that setup no problem!

In theory yes. The Tamron is shorter I think so that might mess up the balance a bit. I would go for the M3 if you have a bit more budget
Good video , thanks .. one question .. can be used this gimbal for Sony A6400 with Sigma lens 16 mm?, or Sony lense 18-135 mm?
Definitely with the 16mm I think. Zhiyun has a list of compatible camera and lens combinations.
Hi
Can use this gimbal for my Sony a6400 with sigma 16mm ?
Yes! It worked with my a7iv and a 20mm lens so definitely on your set up!
Do you think this gimbal supports the Canon Rebel SL2/200d?
Yes it will as long as your lens isn't too long or heavy.
@@MarioSoMedia Do you think it could handle the 200D with the 10-18mm lens or 18-55mm lens attached to it?
Thank you for your review……one question though.Does it charge a Sony camera when connected to the gimbal ?
Thanks for watching. It can't do that unfortunately.
@@MarioSoMedia Thank you
Do you think a sigma 14-24mm 2.8 would be too heavy using Sony a7iii?
That lens is probably too heavy for this gimbal. I used the Tamron 17-28 on the a7iii and it just barely makes it. The Tamron is almost half the weight as the Sigma.
Will it be good for sony A7III+ Tam 28-75 ?

+Suri Makhloga yeah. It is priced at a more affordable price but that comes with weight limitations.
Would it hold an Sony AX53 ??
I am not sure. The shape of the camera body might make it tricky to balance
I am new to camera & gimbal.. Does crane m2s gimbal supports canon Eos m50 mark II camera
+Love & Like ❤️ Shavanya ❤️ Yes it should!
will it work on samsung s22 ultra?
I think so. My camera without lens is 3x heavier than the s22 ultra

+Michael Filmmaker Yea the M2S is so tiny. Depending on your setup it might work well!
The video is so funny. The stabilizer comes with a fill light which is a clever design. These days, the small gimbal can take A7iii is hard to believe
Yeah it's crazy how powerful the motor is on such a tiny gimbal!
cool Mario!
