2:50 all extended range Guitars keep the 1st 6 Regular strings. Funny thing the strings on a 10 String Nylon Acoustic Guitar are under very low tension as opposed to Steel Strings on an Agile 10 String Electric Guitar which are super high tension.
There is a little bit of differences between,
comparing guitar of more or less strings,
And comparing ecstatic/sound guitar of the same amount of strings. At the end of the day more strings mean more musical not range, and guitar with difference amount of string shouldn't be competing because there's nothing to win.

Hi there! Well it depends on the type of tuning. if the added 2 strings are lower, you can order individual strings from Hannabach. If you want baroque tuning, then you need a D2 and a C2. For more info, please check my video on 10 string guitar tuning. Thanks for watching!

Rodolfo. Muchas gracias por tu comentario. La primera cuerda de la guitarra de seis tiene resonancia claro, pero no en TODAS las notas de la escala cromatica. Un abrazo :)
