  • Handmade backgammon board from scratch using one slab of walnut and epoxy. I sliced the board in the middle to create a book-matched panel and show all wood grain flowing in one direction. Wood carving and epoxy are used to create different colored slots and décor instead of a veneer. I used brass hinges and lock to add a decorative look.

Very nice, love the dark colors. First board I've seen with the hinges in that location, interesting.

Wow, that must have taken A LOT of time to make. Very very nicely done. On another note, I found the music in the video to be rather annoying. Beautiful build though.

I think you've created a really nice looking board. But I'm curious to know, why did you decide to use expoxy resin, when wood is such a great natural surface?
BTW I LOVE the hinges - an excellent solution that leaves "the bar" completely flat. Well done.

Very nice work! The only thing I would have changed is making more of a distinction between the point colors. They are too similar.

Thanks for commenting. I agree. I gotta be honest and say I should have been a bit braver with colors

I HATE that every one of these videos feels the need to add really annoying music every time there is a montage. I would much prefer silence. This one is worse because your voice is so quiet that I have to turn the volume high, then suddenly this super loud music comes on, so I turn the volume down, then you start talking and I can't hear anything.
