A DARING animal ranger has spent an ENTIRE day living with a pride of lions - hoping to form an unbreakable bond with their new-born cubs. 24-year-old, Shandor Larenty, took it upon himself to be the first human to try and interact with the three cubs on site at the Lion And Safari Park in South Africa. With the cub’s mom, Rialda, and 250kg dad, George, rarely leaving their side, Shandor was faced with the potentially deadly task of not forcing his approach and upsetting the protective parents. Shandor, who is sometimes dubbed the ‘Lion King’, has formed an incredible bond with George over the past seven years that allows him to be able to hand-feed the apex predator. But he knew the stakes were different this time around with George’s cubs involved… This is the first episode in Barcroft TV's brand new three-part series: 'Big Cat Life', that airs on the Beastly RUclips channel, with a new episode being released each week.

You can NEVER trust a wild animal! Simply because they are wild and they have instincts! One day these lions instincts will take over and this fool will be attacked! Even Kevin has still had incidents with his lions. And he has raised his lions since they were born. He wasn't just there watching the delivery like this guy was. He has actually had a major impact on his lions lives. This guy is taking unnecessary risks and he's foolish...period!

I’m no lion expert, but watching Kevin Richardson, he NEVER runs or makes sudden movements. Even when the lions snap at each other or make quick movements he never jumps or shows fear. As I stated, I’m no expert, but I think it’s pretty dangerous when this guy runs from a lion or runs to another lion. Running could easily trigger the lions into thinking this guy is prey.
Watch Dean Schneider as well, he runs with his pride!

Kevin have ran with and agter his lions and have seen him make sudden movements. Kevin is just more at ease and know his lions better and know how each will react to such movements. I love kevin✊

This guy’s heart is in the right place, and he’s obviously a good dude. But I don’t think he should be putting himself in that sort of danger. These animals are massive killing machines. I hope he stays safe.

@@galariajaved Kevin Richardson lays down with his lions, as well. And he has been right there sleeping with one of his lionesses right after she had some cubs. Lionesses do not even let other members of the pride go near their new cubs.

The full on view of a grown male lion looking at you with those steely brown eyes is a humbling encounter with nature's power and sheer magnificence. Any man, any cowardly man who deliberately harms or kills any of these incredible animals should be criminally charged, just as if the victim were human. Thank you Ranger for your dedication and humanity.
