I have always believed and loved all animals I am supposed to have a cat with me because they were coming cuz I had PTSD from many violent things done to me and my triggers go off without me knowing just from a spelling something or hearing something that takes me back I where I don't want to go and live through that again I've always loved all the breeds that you have on your your Channel I will always care about them all but I love the German Shepherds I was in the hospital seven times by Ann Midlands and when I got home they evicted me because my rent was going to be at the end of the month and I was over 18 years so they took everything it was precious to me than my mom just died and my children's memories please keep these dogs healthy and happy they deserve a great life for what they do for their humans God bless you for helping.

I would have been disappointed if they weren't #1. I had many since the 80s when there weren't many around , Best breed ever. My First one Hondo was sired from Dingo Vom Schwaiger Wappen ,first generation straight from Germany he was amazing to say the least ,words can not capture the essence of his character its been over 30 years now I miss him everyday. Ive had many since him but never even close to what he left in my heart. I miss you big guy❤

The best dog to have is a Rottweiler. I had 1 male which was 140 lbs and my female was 95 lbs.. All I can say is these 2 went everywhere with me. I never had to worry about safety when I went anywhere. They were my babies!!

Rottweilers are amazing dogs, I grew up with one. He was such a loving and caring dog. If you ever came near my garden with a hood up he would be straight into guard mode and would stalk you ready to attack if needed. But he was very loyal and obedient

yeah my uncle had 2 kangals as guard dogs since he lived right next to the forest. They were so loving. I was pretty young back then so they were so careful not to hurt me when playing. Idk why but stronger a dog more caring it gets.

Glad to see my Rottie as #1! Loyal, smart, strong beyond belief, huggable, playful, amazing cattle herders (we're on a ranch) and able to tell the difference between a threat and someone or something smaller than it that doesn't present a problem.

@@ZiZANNN Thanks for the comment...Rotties never seem to get credit for their intelligence. I can tell my guy that we're going on a walk in the woods (he runs and grabs the short leash) or we're going out on the range (he runs and grabs the long leash). They definitely have a small vocabulary.

I've had Dobermans all my life, EXCELLENT guard dogs. During one time, our doberman attacked a stranger to protect my dad. If it wasn't for our doberman who knows what would have happened.
My friend Montez, a dentist was having trouble with a burglar who broke into his house more than once.. A mutual friend of ours had a doberman named Rocky that never barked😊. Since Rocky knew us, I suggested that Montez put Rocky in his house.. After about a week, sure enough the burglar returned.. One Saturday, Montez, myself and Rocky's owner returned to Montez's house to find Rocky sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor fixated on the top of the fridge.. After we noticed the pool of blood around the fridge, I looked to see what Rocky was looking at.. The burglar got to the highest point to escape.. Rocky had torn his calf out so bad that we could see his leg bone..👍😆👍.. His arm had been mauled and his back ripped to shreds😆💯😆.. Police arrested the burglar in the hospital bc they found items at his apt. that Montez reported stolen.. Dobermans- Love them❤️❤️❤️...

I had a Rottweiler when I was young. She did not bark unnecessarily but stood guard and stared down the shit of any threat. When I was young, I rode on her back while hugging her neck. Those were fun times. Rottweiler are the most loyal of the canine species. They follow their owners till death.
I have a German shepherd and he is the cutest thing for me ngl and he never leaves opportunity to fight other animals but he is very soft and Caring towards family! I didnt trained him too much but still he is very intelligent and sometimes he behaves like he understand us too very well! Definately best dog for a happy family 😀

Finally got my first Cane Corso (back in January) and we are both in love lol. Still a pup and lots more training to go thru but perfectly walks on a leash, only 1 accident in the house, knows sit, stay, lay down and come . She will grow to be a great family member and most of all protector!

I have two females, my mother is a cane corso and my daughter is a CC + bull mastiff, and these are 2 such babies of about 40 kg. "And then they turn into a" defense machine to inflict injuries "to put it mildly. Mom sleeps for more than half a day if it's raining or bad weather to go out. They live with cats and accept all other animals ... the younger catches flies, lizards, mice, butterflies .... basically everything that flies or runs .... with small children they are extremely tolerant and enjoy the company of very small children.

Sometimes I think that when god made dogs that can take on lions and bears and the smallest dog in the world and forgot that he ended up switching their personalities. That's why the big guys are mellow and so gentle and then we have the almighty Chihuahua. Damn little guy sometimes acts like the spawn of Satan which he himself ran away from just in fear for his life

Just have a few dog treats in your pocket. Then you won't just be safe, they'll all going to love you. My first dog got a few treats from our postwoman when she was a puppy. That was the only time any mail/delivery person ever got her a treat, but she remembered it all her life and treated every person in that uniform immediately as a friend and expected more treats from them ;)

My mother had a white Shepherd/wolf mix when I was growing up. A powerful dog with a powerful presence. I loved him from his time as a puppy to learning of his passing. He protected my mother from anyone.

We have a ridgeback x Charpe and she is the most beautiful/loyal family dog we could have asked for. We live in a rather ordinary area with high crime and she has never once let anything happen to our property. My 18month old son was out the front playing and about to be attacked by a stray from up the road and brandy (our dog) jumped our 6foot gate to get out the front to protect him. (She never jumps our fences and didn’t even know she could) Couldn’t be happier with the breed. She chased the stray off and ensured our son was safe.
All happened in about 5 seconds. She got to him before I could and I was only 10m away cleaning the ute.
Ever since that day she only gets premium dog food and freshwater every 6 hours (timer on the hose cock).
Right a dog breed used to hunt lions didn't make the list is a bit ridiculous.
It sounds all good and Danny with the huge dogs but my favorite dog from all times is the German Shepherd because if they fighting abilities and they intelligence

Ha I owned wolfdogs growing up. They are basically like a coyote looking husky. They are not very trainable and are extremely intelligent. They basically tolerate you and understand they are safe with you. They will bite but not in a trained fashion.

Yep. They feel no pain and are absolutely relentless when in a fury. Mine demonstrated this only once when a guy approached me from behind (young guy, probably only wanted a cigarette but he was waving his arms around). Next thing I know he is frozen terrified with his arms crossed on his chest and a brown blur at his feet. No way to distinguish any particular part of the dog just a quantum cloud of dog probabilities with hellish noises coming out of it. She never touched the kid and he fled as soon as I got control of the dog. Otherwise she is a very cool dog and bff -- alert, powerful, fast and agile, independent but affectionate and companionable, always ready for fun and adventure. She also yodels and tells jokes.
