I tell myself not to be a sucker and rely on high pitches (vocals, synths etc.) in drops but goddamn when you played those high vocals in yours I fell for them in a heartbeat. Such a good track and I love your explanations on things, especially the less is more ( Regardless of the 150 + tracks 😏). The bass is from some Kontakt pack I think. The slide is a one-shot sample from Splice as far as I remember! :D

Do you have any advice on how to handle such a complex project in terms of cpu usage?
Not really.. I had to pause the recording and freeze up tracks every 30 seconds lol
Do you bounce each track to another project for a mixing session? Would like to know more about your mixing process! Keep it up tho!
I've done both.. But usually I actually just mix in the project itself.
how you prepare your mixdown to mastering? u keep any headroom? do u use premaster?
is it correct that u used the same mid bass in this track like in don't talk about it, its like a sawroundedtosquare and a saw w lowpass filter and a sine wave loo that controls the bend+ of the saw osc?

How do you put all of this and still have headroom and when you played the stacked lead chords at the drop they were already so loud on the peak meter how do you do it for real?
I occasionally use a VCA fader to turn everything down a lot before finalizing a mix. There's multiple ways to do it tho! Loudness isn't my main focus tho, so I don't care about losing a little bit of loudness vs.having a more dynamic mix.
