YES! Doing it now, thanks to this video! I have actually been doing this since you released this video. My skin was looking way better, and then it went haywire the last couple of days. It's my horror-mones (you see what I did there? 🎃🤣), though! And the change of weather! Thank you for making taking care of my skin and learning to use Seint make-up fun!
I have struggled with trying create a routine where I can target all the things I need to…rosacea, aging, breakouts…and still take care of my skin barrier. I felt I needed to use all the products nearly nightly to get results. Going to try cycling and a few strategic new products you recommend and see how my 48 year old special skin reacts. 😀 Thanks for more great content Sarah!!
Love the education you provide! I don’t have one of those pillows yet, planning to get one but for whenever you can’t travel with it, at least pack a satin pillow case to use. Way better than sleeping on the cotton ones in hotels, etc.
Thank you for all the great info. All the skin regimen I'm doing now is thanks to you and my skin feels great and glows, I can really feel a difference and love how well my Seint makeup looks like and goes on better. Hugs , Lori
Ok I watched it all and this was amazing. It’s also information OVERLOAD. I’ll have to save this video and take notes because there is so much detailed information….AND I LOVE IT. Thank you for this video, I love when you do skincare and this video was great. My only question is…what about all those other products? I mean, I no you have lots of other potions because I got them too from your other videos. So if we adopt this new cycling program, what or when do we use all those other potions and serums? A bit confusing but I’ll definitely be having this one on replay.
I use tons of different products for a specific reason. For example, I love using a hyaluronic acid but have lots of different products that meet that purpose! So I switch them out week to week.
Thank you for this video, such great info!! I just started tretinoin for my acne, will definitely start cycling! My face is really going through it right now
Toll-air-e-ann. Is how u pronounce la-roche-poe-say. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on skin care. I started getting white pimple around the eyes and was wandering what was causing it. Now I know. Ty
I actually Cure in the mornings so I can stick to my 3 day schedule with that. If you’re new to exfoliating with chemical exfoliators or Cure I’d recommend just not doing them both on the same day 👍🏻
@@jenniferrichter2482 since it’s not a chemical exfoliator I would actually use it on a different night after cleansing and before serums. I would actually use it on retinol night to get off the dead skin the night after the chemical exfoliator loosened up skin cells, so I get more results from the retinoid night. But if you are new to either I wouldn’t because your skin will be more sensitive and so maybe use it on the first recovery night 👍🏻
Thank you for this video, Sarah, it is in my favs so I can refer to it as needed. I think one thing often left out of *skin care* in general (it should be a given, but we've all been guilty at least once) is maintaining clean disinfected makeup brushes. They can harbor bacteria etc., and we do not want that on our fresh, clean & prepped skin - or in our Seint products. *Cue a question, if I may - how do we make a suggestion to Seint to PLEASE offer fragrance-free brush cleaner? What they have works wonderfully, don't get me wrong. But its fragrance triggered a migraine (I'm sensitive to scents). Also, I want to try the Seint Skin Care Milk Cream that you talk about being so good, but I noticed that it also has 'fragrance' listed as an ingredient. Is it strongly scented?
Incorporate only one new product at a time! Let your skin adjust for 3-6 weeks and then add in a new product. Definitely give yourself recovery nights! Keep it simple.
It can definitely be a matter of preference and what your goals are. If you are looking for that “glow” or “glass skin” physical exfoliation only might not be able to get you the same results.
If I have oily acne phone skin could I use BHA & AHA together on the exfoliating night? I just got the Somme Institute Transport Glycolic Acid wipes and also have the same sample of Paula’s choice that you showed in the video. You think they’d be safe to use together? Also, what do you think of Differin for the second night (when using the above). I’ve been using it for a couple of months and I’m seeing ok results. I’m still breaking out and getting clogged pores and I have sensitive skin like you and can get dermatitis on my eyelids sometimes so I have to be careful. This video was great! Thank you for sharing! Your kitty is so beating! Such a sweet baby! 🥰
I wouldn't use two different acid products. Some products have both AHA and BHA but they're formulated safely. So I definitely wouldn't use the SA on top of the GA wipes but you could alternate these products and use one one night and the other 4 nights later, or however you choose to cycle. Differin would definitely work for your night two. It is a retinoid. SA will help with clogged pores.
@@TheContouredChemist ah ok! That makes sense. I didn’t think about them needing to be specially formulated. Thank you so much for replying! So far I’m loving skin cycling. Thanks again for sharing!! 🙏🏼🫶🏼 BTW - that should have said your kitty is BEAUTIFUL! 😆
Great video! I’ve been using Teton A prescription for over a year now and want to use it daily but then I’m not able to use other skin care products that I like., glycolic acid or Vit C serums right!?
Yep you don't want to mix retinoids with acids or Vit C. You could use Vit C in AM and tret in PM but not in same routine. And I don't recommend acids during day really because it can cause increased sensitivity to sun!
@@TheContouredChemist I’m not sure how to incorporate exfoliating and acids then.. I’m really trying to lighten the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and thought if I use vit c daily in mornings I can use retin A or glycolic acid at night. I feel for my skin I need to apply daily or I don’t get it under control?
Unfortunately I waited so long to start taking care of my skin… In my mid 40's, I realized my skin wasn't looking as good as it used to… however I can say I have made a drastic improvement in the last few years . I had implemented skin cycling before I knew what it was called… lol just from doing deep dives on skin care, on the Internet. Thankfully my 50 year old skin has improved hugely. It's never too late to start taking care of your skin.
Have you ever tried cycling in your nightly regimen?

Yay!! You read my mind! I love the way you teach! You’re the best! Thank you, Sarah!!

Loved this video! I've been using alot of the products you've shown and now have a definitive process to follow.
Sooooo much info…I have been working on a routine to work in all my serums for better consistency. Thank you for this…it helps
Always love when you do skincare videos ❤

Can I get some advice for oily skin? Acne prone but anti aging also
Our beautiful FRIEND SARAH ❤️
Hey Sarah! I love this idea, but am wondering on which night would you incorporate Cure? Would that technically be the exfoliation night?
I actually Cure in the mornings so I can stick to my 3 day schedule with that. If you’re new to exfoliating with chemical exfoliators or Cure I’d recommend just not doing them both on the same day 👍🏻
I was going to ask the same thing. So if we use Cure at night would that count as our exfoliation day in the skin cycle?

Hi! I also am sensitive to fragrances. The milk creme does not trigger anything for me personally. It is scented but smells "clean".
Uggg it smells so strong and lasts forever! And I like scents!
I’m thinking about adding my ivermectin back in for rosacea. Do you think skin cycling could still be done?
Thank you! Any suggestions on getting back into skin care routine after having dermatitis?

Can I use a physical exfoliation instead of chemical?
It can definitely be a matter of preference and what your goals are. If you are looking for that “glow” or “glass skin” physical exfoliation only might not be able to get you the same results.
If you were wanting to incorporate Tranex or something for pigmentation to you routine what nights would that fit in?
Ah you mentioned it at the end of the video. So you could use the tranex every morning. Along with vitamin c? Or too much acids?
