Grand Admiral Thrawn has been, and will likely continue to be, one of my favorite characters in Star Wars and fiction as a whole. I hope this begins to do justice to his music.

(I looked across the darkens of room that was his office, expecting him to be sitting in his chair waiting for me though I was surprised to find it empty.)
"Lady Ahsoka, I expected you to arrive much sooner. I welcome you aboard my ship, though I am sorry to tell you that Ezra Bridger did not survive our ordeal all those years ago."
(I barely contained myself, as I heard that familiar calm, cool voice come from behind me. Followed by the clanking of heavy footsteps, I knew I had lost for now and slowly raised my hands. When I turned around I was faced with six Death Troopers and two Dark Troopers.)
(Then slowly from the shadows, from the direction I came, emerged the figure of the person I have been hunting, but even so, I still could not believe it. As I saw the crisp white uniform, the blue skin, and those piercing red eyes that could see through anyone, through any battle.)
"Grand Admiral, I'm honored by your greeting."

Live update from seeing the recent episode: even better, it’s pretty much a drum-like march, with Sardukar (Dune)-like chants of Thrawn’s name. 😂
Our Grand Admiral solidified his cult of personality during his time away.
