Oh my gosh, it's here! The way you had to edit the music video definitely gives vibes of all those meme-stagings from last year mocking the Polish rehearsal with all those random filters and edits. Andrew is definitely very good looking, and he has a great voice (and great live vocals), and to me, that's all it seemed like Cyprus wanted this year. They experimented with something ethnic last year (Andromache - Ela), and that lead to their first non-qualification since 2015, so this year they went for a basic pop song sung by a good vocalist. The style of his belting and singing kind of reminds me of Imagine Dragons or some American pop band. Plus, he's Australian (competed in the Australian national final last year), so he already has 24 points guaranteed (12 from Greece, 12 from Australia) so I don't see this having a problem to not qualify, though I'm almost certain it will get bottom 6 in the final. Overall, happy you were able to upload the video, and congrats on finishing! Can't wait to see the draft video soon. Love from Canada!
@Landon Disagree entirely as someone who actually lives here. Australia isn't like that at all, the only time that happens can be with certain ethnic minorities such as the Cypriot ex-pats, Greek ex-pats etc. The vast majority of Australians vote based on the music alone.
@@landon306 You don't understand Aussies then. He's not a household name here, and even if he were we are not nationalistic like that, we don't vote for our own just because they are our own. We'll wish him well, but unless the song is liked he's not getting votes just for being Australian. Cypriot expats living here might vote for him based on country ties, the majority will not. You need to experience more cultures and not just assume they're all like yours.
IT'S A CHRISTM... I MEAN, IT'S AN APRIL 29TH MIRACLE, a Cyprus reaction free at last. Quick edit, in the future, you should look into how ESC Groot worked around copyright issues, posting an intro/review cut onto YT with a full reaction posted as a google drive link in the description.

Tyler! You were my Favourite… you just viciously attacked… like you were passionate about it..😢 I don’t like when comments go like this everything done before. I don’t like when every Eurovision song has to revolutionize the music world. Everything after Eleni was like Fuego2.0 3.0… question is: is it a good song or not? You like it or not? Theme can be done million times, song has done million times. He is at that moment of his life and he made this song that millions of people felt and sang about this team before. So what 🤷🏻♂️
You could also make the video VERY see through, cut half of the video, lower the music a lot. Stuff like that ive seen other reactors do, specially jumping through the song to bits where youre talking. Still, i admire the flashy video effects and I hope its enough for it to stay up 😅. AND YES, some people (the ones who react to movies and series) put down timers for people to sync. It could work. Hopefully something works. Also, I agree with Bekah. Last year's overwhelming amount of sad boy songs makes this a no no for me. Maybe in a couple years. ALSO ALSO I agree with Tyler about the music video. I can't stand music videos where the man is a sad boy and calm and collected while the woman is MAD and SCREAMING at the calm guy, like, it's the stereotypical "crazy girlfriend" trope. I know it's just a music video but it's such a lazy trope I can't stand it anymore.
So, I like this well enough but it is in the category of being TOO polished for me to get a proper hold on. It’s good but I don’t seek it out because it lacks identity. As lyrics go not the best. I had a similar reaction to Hovig and Chingiz for example. Will it qualify? Probably. I’d expect an at least decent vocal and it’s in the second semi final. Seems likely. Can’t see it making waves in the final though.
Oh nice! Here before it gets taken down

Australia doesn't vote politically
@@RuffledRodent They'll still vote for their own people. All countries do it.
Polish staging was one of the best in 2022

Any time I post a video this late in the day, it's always fun to see who the night owls are. 😏

That was your funniest video this year. 👍 Meanwhile yes Israel also has a dining scene and Brunette wants to drink smoothies in cafes.
