N stands for Knowledge! Lol Huskies Pep Band member here, dude who wore the gold jacket while leading the band! Always a good time when the Huskies played the Cats, and while the rivalry is intense I had a ton of friends at NMU in the band that I loved hanging out with before and after these games! I stumbled upon your channel watching your Admirals review, I moved to Milwaukee a year ago and am gonna check out my first game this weekend! Maybe I’ll wear a Tech jersey to Ads games just to spite the NMU homies in attendance! Lol great reviews man! GO HUSKIES!!!
Hahaha! I actually really do enjoy how steep and classic Tech’s arena is. Admirals games are a blast. Have fun! I’ve been seeing a few people in Huskies gear at games so you may find some friends although I may make some comments to those people. Haha oops. Always gotta rep NMU! The N sands for knowledge, the M stands for marijuana, and the U stands for You can go here too! Hahaha! GO ‘CATS!
I went to the Mac last summer just to look around. I think that the Berry event center in Marquette is a lot fancier and more chaotic. What do you think?
That would be awesome! I’ve heard a lot of nice things about that arena and Alberta is one of my dream locations to visit. I’d love to see the Saddledome in Calgary as well if I’m ever up that way.
Hahaha! That sure is going to be weird to see. You know the “ticketed attendance” will show every game as a sellout no matter how many people go through the gates.
Thanks for the stadium review! I went to two Madison Capitals games and a Bucks game because of you. I just moved from Chicago to Madison. I had a great time finding the the sky deck at Fiserv. Next on the list for you has to be Camp Randell. ooh and also The Kohl Center. thank me later
Thanks so much! Yes! I’m making plans to go for Camp Randell in September and a LOT of other places in the meantime. Things should be ramping up here soon! I’ve got tickets to a Forward Madison game as well! Hope you’re enjoying your new place in Madison!
Going to the Mac tomorrow for the first time. As an NMU fan I’m so excited for the rivalry on a playoff level in a hostile environment! I went to both home games against Tech in Marquette and that OT win for the Cats in December is what I want repeated this weekend! Go Cats! Shut ‘em down Beni!
I just got so hyped reading this! Cheer loud for the boys and let those Tech fans know you’re there! Should be a raucous atmosphere and a heck of a game. Go Cats!
@@SACSportsAdventures I’ll do my best to make my presence felt lol, I’m going this one solo. If our students resemble your group on the trip, we’ll be well represented! Awesome fandom and great video, really got me in the spirit for tonight!!! Thank you!!!!
If you ever get the chance you gotta make it to what is considered by Wayne Gretzky as the Taj Mahal of hockey and whose facilities are way superior to any NHL team. Filled with the best and loudest fans in college hockey. Ralph Engelstad arena home of the Fighting Sioux!
Solid video! Only wish that I could have been at the MTU away games at NMU this year (y'all should have put in your fourth goalie, guy number 3 was having a time of it)
Thanks! I appreciate it. Those rivalry games always get so wild! I did a video at NMU as well and talked about the atmosphere when Tech comes to Marquette. I really miss those days. Haha!
Yes! 100%! I always enjoyed when BG came to Marquette because they have a really competitive comparable squad. I need to get down to their arena. I’ve been inside once before when on a tour of BG since I’m originally from Ohio and I feel like the atmosphere could be great in that tight arena!
@SAC Sports Adventures I'm biased because I went there. But it's the best atmosphere in college hockey. When we play Miami, Ohio State, or Michigan State our biggest historical rivalries, the place truly lives up to its nickname the Madhouse. Noise just radiates off that low steel roof. Always great conference environment vs Tech or Minnesota State in more recent years
The loudest 4 thousand people on Earth !!!! Go Huskies !!

these r so underrated
Thanks so much! The video or the arena is underrated?

I like how the students are all on one side here with the super steep seats but the Berry is a much nicer and modern venue.
You should check out Rogers Place in Edmonton if you have a chance!
That would be awesome! I’ve heard a lot of nice things about that arena and Alberta is one of my dream locations to visit. I’d love to see the Saddledome in Calgary as well if I’m ever up that way.
I wonder who will have higher attendance next year, this little school or the Arizona Coyotes. Their arena's capacities are almost the same.
Hahaha! That sure is going to be weird to see. You know the “ticketed attendance” will show every game as a sellout no matter how many people go through the gates.
Definitely mtu
As a tech student in my fourth year, who’s also in the pep band. We throw it right back to ya… Spring Break of 2020 remind you of anything???
Hmmm… losing in the playoffs in triple OT?

It’s such a classic design with so much history! Lots to love!

@@SACSportsAdventures Make sure you get the fly-over after the anthem on camera. There is an air force base in Madison.

Yes! I've gotten lots of recommendations to go there. Especially when I called Wisconsin one of the nicest facilities in college hockey.

Go Tech, Go Evan Orr from Todd Orr from Grayling, Michigan.
That’s awesome! Is that your son that place for Tech?

What bias opinion.
I know I’m a little biased since I went to their rival school. Haha!
