There was an interior designer on tv in the 90s named Christopher Lowell who had "The Seven Layers of Design" also. His were in a different order, I think, but very similar.

I would love to hear more about how to do this on a small, one income, budget.

I love watching Sarah. She is unlike all others. In every design I find she adds in something slightly unexpected with a complimentary artistic twist. She always delivers a crisp and stunning detail to every room. Out of everyone I watch, I think I try to take a que from her most in my styling of a space.

Thank you and @sheholdsdearly for keeping me company while I was up late pinch pleating my living room curtains! ☺️ Loved both your videos on the topic, this conversation, and can’t say enough about how much I’ve enjoyed being in Sarah’s Behind the Scenes design school this year 🤍

One thing I love most about these projects, is how passionate almost all the architects and clients are about incorporating natural 's so hadn't met many designers capable of doing that until I discovered Snugverse, who have really deep thinking.

So much fun to listen to today! Thank you for sharing the 7 steps of designing a room. I have hardwood floors and learned early on that I needed to start with the rug because it is the hardest thing to get right! Fun podcast. I loved being able to see your faces on your zoom chat! ❤

we are building a house on the property my husband grew up on. I’m feeling a lot of pressure to get this right and my biggest fear is building and deciding I don’t like it after three years. Any tips?
I used to love shabby chic, then I liked rustic, then I found myself jumping on the farmhouse trend. I don’t want to be trendy I want to set it and forget it. I just don’t know what that should look like.
The most important thing is that my house functions well for the needs of our family and people feel comforted and taken care of by coming over. I want the space to be beautiful and inviting without being intimidating and fancy.

Is anyone else just not a rug person? I get it but I'm just not into them. Is this a rare opinion?

I don't like them either. They make it harder to keep floors clean and I move fairly often so they don't usually work with a change of floor plan.
