And Lisa says she doesn't know how to decorate; shoot, I wish I didn't know how to decorate like this, lol. Her home is pure calm, and simplicity from the heart. She has a natural knack for it and doesn't even know it. I love her! Every time I watch her videos I think, "how, how does she do it? The homemaking, the farm, the kids, teaching her kids and her courses, running her own business...?" It's not easy yet she makes it look so natural. It's like she was born for it. I've been following Lisa for a couple years now and how nice for her to have you at her farmhouse.
Loved it. I watch Lisa quite a bit and watched the video where she was working on decorating that little cottage. I offered to live there. I just don't know how she does it all! Her home is less square footage than mine (though mine's a modern open concept) and it looks so roomy compared to my cluttered home. I watch a couple of the other invitees, but have to check out the ones I don't know.
You did such a beautiful job of videoing Lisa's home. I really got the full feel of it. I've never quite seen it toured in this way. So peaceful with your descriptions.

In response to the inclusion comment: I am a black female who has be watching several of these ladies for years. Am I am sure that there are plenty of other people of color who enjoy these ladies. Real inclusion should be organic and not forced. Just as I am sure the friendship between these ladies has developed. People of color are not accessories to be added to round out an aesthetic. Are there people of color who share the same aesthetic as these ladies, of course, but you do them and us a disservice when they are included because they are people of color and not because you genuinely enjoy their content. Real inclusion is existence without highlighting our differences.

Where are the black people in your stories? Do they not have businesses you could show case? Lily white America and farmsteads taste of ignoring the Native American and the Black. Add this to your content and then you can really bring some meaning to your videos. Beauty is not as essential as inclusion.
