Be a real shame if you pack up- The vidoe where you explained the funding opened my eyes in that you are a normal guy who has put so much onthe line to follow your dreams. It is really interesting to understand what it takes to run your car and the financial and time commottment- You underestimated the enjoyment you have given Keep on going !

Hi Richard...Please don't give up Sir! Having only stumbled across your channel recently I have just finished binge watching them all and tbh I thoroughly enjoyed them. A great insight into R5 ownership and, refreshingly in this day and age, all presented in a matter of fact, down to earth manner without any hint of ego or bullshit. Please keep them coming!...Whatever happens, best of luck in all your future endeavors :-)

    Always enjoyed your content Richard!
I was hoping at some stage you do a video with advice and information on how to start rallying! Seems daunting to me but I’d love to do it with my MK2 escort one day soon. Cheers for all the videos so far 👍🏽

Oh no! I really enjoy the content and for what it’s worth I think you’re just getting going both in terms of repeatable results and also a good handle on the car upkeep/ it’s appetite for parts and the associated costs. This is the information that necessarily needs some repetition to bring together, but is absolutely fascinating either as standalone info or for those of us who aspire(dream?!) to R5 ownership.
I appreciate it’s time consuming to edit and post material, and also it looks to be a PITA to try and do any filming whilst on event and that becomes a distraction.
Given that results and on event footage are fairly easily found online, might it make more sense to focus on the pre and post event thoughts/ learnings and keep that going ?
Your decision obviously, and thanks for the honest and inclusive footage to date.👍👍

Please don’t stop Richard, there’s loads you could still cover off from the more technical side to how you prepare yourself mentally. Ps hope to see you in East Riding

Always enjoyed your content and learnt so much more about rallying from a drivers aspect rather than being just a spectator. I'm sure speaking as one of your many supporters we simply cant get enough and its always exciting to watch. All the best with future events and I do hope you keep us fans informed.

Thanks very much. I appreciate your kind comments. I’m surprised people find it so interesting, because I feel I’m kinda churning out the same thing. It’s nice to know you enjoy the content.

Hi Richard, I completely support what ever you think is best for yourself. However I have not found this stale at all. For me anyway who spends a lot of time at rallies just nosing around the service park I never get tired of hearing about how people's cars are running, set up choices and the like. Even just covering the events you do would be great. This channel is a great insight that none other offers. Of course I know it takes a lot of effort to make this content for us viewers so happy once you are happy :).

Thanks Richard, its honestly been really insightful seeing how it is to run one of these as a privateer. Its definitely something id like to do in the future, funds permitting! 😂
I know these videos are a ballache, with editing, having to self record in public etc, but maybe just recording raw videos onboards of stages would be a good compromise?
That way its keeps content coming but its perhaps not as time consuming as the previous content was? I know I'd watch that.

Thanks Cameron. The editing isn’t really that bad, I just think it’s becoming a bit repetitive for the viewers. I also think there’s so much on board footage out there that I won’t be adding anything particularly unique, but that said maybe I’ll do something in the future if I can think of something fresh to do with the channel. I’m really glad you’ve enjoyed it.

Thanks very much John, I’m glad you’re enjoying it. I still find it surprising that people find it that interesting, but with that in mind, I will certainly give some consideration as to how I might carry on in the future.

Richard I love watching your content , but understand it takes time and to you seems repetitive. Naturally I would love to see the videoes continue every month or two so please please keep on with the updates on events. Very honest and friendly channel with nice glimpses of UK (I’m in NZ) which is my homeland. Best wishes for future with your fabulous R5

Be sorry to see you park the channel. But fully understand it must be a full time job at times. The occassional update and rally report would be grand. North West and East Riding report/vlog would be a must !
