I appreciate you bringing attention to this game. I’d never of known it existed otherwise. I’m a huge fan of both Silent Hill and Siren, and anything featuring Akira Yamaoka’s music. This looks right up my alley.
I jumped into this game pretty blind and at first I wasn't sure of it, but the further I'm getting and understanding how everything works, the more fun I'm having, but it's definitely one of those games that's not for everyone, especially since it's pretty expensive and digital only, at least over here, luckily I was able to get an imported physical version :) but yeah I'm looking forward to playing more and though I don't know how this game ends, I'm already hoping for a sequel, I want more of this stuff ;)
reminscent of the horror ova in the 80s or 90s, Peacock King, Urotsukidoji, demon city shinjuku, wicked city, bio hunter, makaryuudo demon hunter, dark cat, battle high school, psychic wars, , 3x3 eyes, vampire sensou etc
Keiichiro Toyama is a game director that should be gaining recognition by this point. The fact that he continues to experiment with gameplay with different tone shifts between games is something that reminded me of old Capcom games. I mean you play Silent Hill 1 to Siren and to freakin' Gravity Rush which is whimsical. And then turn to body horror.
I was very interested when it was announced and still want to get it but I'll buy it when it goes on sale, its steam pricing for my region is terrible. I wonder if getting Denuvo for it made the prices skyrocket, to offset the cost of hiring that service (25k per month) they could've jacked up the pricing. I don't understand why they even bothered with Denuvo, this is a niche indie game after all
Cool, he seems like ine of those developers that are kinda stuck with old game designs, like the guy from Shenmue but in a good way, because this game does look fun to play despite the old feeling

It really is crazy. Not to mention that games like Silent Hill and Gravity Rush are amazing despite being polar opposites
