Thanks for the tour!
acabei de assistir seu vídeo
Your Still my favourite 😉
Hell yea bin waiting for this vid. Looks clean as. Gotta be awesome doing everything correctly n not half assed. Take good amount of pride that you've looked after someones car when you go home. Cant wait for the next vid mate. 🤘
The water in the booth sounds relaxing
very good, excellent space, this music for the entrance to your show.
Lovely clean shop. I use to use Glasurit 90 / BMW Blue label
clean tidy shop mate! brilliant and a great shop tour 👍
Love working on those high end cars. Keep knocking them out!!!
Thanks mate , enjoyed the tour .
Cheers
I love to work like this the best and only way for me 🤛
I enjoy Gunman videos every single one of them! I appreciate the time you take to keep all of us entertained and to show us how prideful you are in everything that you do. When all of this covid stuff is over I'm going to vacation down in Australia because I need to come in and introduce myself and get a photo with Gunny!!!
With your level of skill and commitment to the trade, you will undoubtedly succeed with ease in a shop like that Gunny.
Just a personal observation though...it seems way to quiet there. Maybe you are ready for the change of pace, but I'm thinking hustle is your game and you thrive at it.
I know personally after 27 years in flat rate collision work, I wouldn't have it any other way.
But best of luck to you sir. You've earned it.
You called it 👍
Nice to see the new shop gunny you will fit in well enjoy and relax m8 your attention to detail and quality is 2nd to none m8
I loved the tour! Thank your boss for us. That water floor is sick! I would love to work somewhere like that. I hope you like it there. Thanks again Gun Man! Greetings from the USA.
Wish you the best 👍
Love the workshop Tour videos! I used to work for Sheen panels in northern suburbs of Melbourne. Now am a mechanic, still love the painting heaps. hope to see more videos as now its local based work...we used the Glasurit 90 line and that was in 2013. the painter I worked alongside has moved to his mates shop in the area and they use Standox on premium jobs.
The best for the best. Well done man, you are someone I really look up to in this job!
Wow that place is huge. I'm glad your enjoying it there now mate. Keep em coming bro. Hello from Perth 👍
Very nice place! I think you will fit in very well there with your attention to detail.
That's an extremely nice compliment that you paid Gunny! And it is well deserved!
Raised on 3m and meguiars myself gunny! Good to see your adjusting well to new shop i always loved working on high end cars myself .
Bloody hell this workshop looks so good!! Well done 👏
Love it! We will hopefully be expanding to a new place kitted out soon!
Nice shop Gunny ! Nice video !! 👍👍👍
Hope all goes well in your new job looking forward to seeing more of your great videos
I worked at a shop similar to this one, bmw shop. Never again. To many people not from the industry that micro manage you. It was extremely frustrating i couldn’t do it. Literally buffing bottoms of rocker moldings, and underside of hoods any nib. Couldn’t make any money.
The micro-managing is real!!
Beautiful 😍
Top level for the top gun!
WoWZerrrzzzz Dream Shop ,so we'll tooking care of,,,Top Dware very Rewarding, and Peaceful br0.
Thank you for sharing 🏁
All the best with the new job buddy. 👍
Wow, super clean mixing area, not a single splash of paint in sight. Amazing.
Nothing like upping your game to keep you frosty.
Once again awesome vid.
Now that your settled i hope to learn more form your detail experience it will help many of up do better aswell.
Awesome!!
nice shop
Keep the quality up
Love the new shop
you have some good paint reps! My reps at Finishmaster in Michigan are no help....
Looks like a great shop. I hope it works out for you in Melbourne this time. Best of luck
Nice! Good luck with it man
high end shop! its gunney time!
Very cool gunny I just stared back at a shop and am loving it man I missed it! Take care bro!
I never seen this booth before. Seen vertical water 💦 ones. Nothing like this. It's almost looking into the abyss!
New chapter gunny.....all the best ✌️
I always felt that working in the more elite shops was nice, because it keeps you on your toes, and keeps your skills honed up.
Gives one a good sense of pride, knowing you are in a Tier 1 facility, where not just anyone will get a go at it or be accepted.
Thanks for the tour Gunny,...looks like you are right at home!
Its easier if you have the skill. Because there is no excuses. All the tools and materials are new and the best for the job
Agreed with the compound comments. I’ve still got bottles of that shock to cut stuff!! Doesn’t get used and always go back to 3m.
After the long time bro. Good luck
My uncle still sprays in his senco spray booth water floor. Always clean and maintained. AWSOME stuff. 👍👍
They are great booths.
awesome stuff mate
If your colors are close all the time just spray the spray out cards in the booth .spray a bumper with the card at least you get coverage. Never put unchecked mixed paint on the blend areas
That work shop look awesome 👏 gunny and you is a guy who always do standard and quality paint job hands down that’s the right work shop for you gunny lol 😂 keep it up and keep bringing those lovely videos gunny much love and respect ✊💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌✊✊✊✊✊✊👏👏👏👏👏👏😎😎😎😎😎😎🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👊👊👊👊👊👊👊💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Looks like a great team to be part of🤙
It is cool ur back in Vic now bro.
Looks an awesome man painters dream workin to those standards all day
Cool very cool
I like!
Nice video appreciate your tour around your work plase stay safe
Nice walkaround. Seems a very professional place, and it's probably easier to stay that professional if you work with that kind of cars, and don't have to paint worn out Toyota's
I learnt something new there and the gunman is a legend !!
👊 thanks 😊
@@TheGunmanChannel hi sup bro i painted a van clear coat chevron clear and sikken hardener now am having some white build up at the edges and on the panel can the two product aggred
Wow, nice shop and respect for the top notch paint work, thanks for the tour! I’m curious, do you notice any difference in waterborne basecoat dry times with a water floor booth compared to a traditional booth?
I see you get 3m valve, I've been using it for a year, about $30, awesome item, I've got Ani as well
Really nice shop to work in.
thats a nice shop man.
water booth in my experience when you clean them its like mud shovel it out.
Thats a great workshop…
Hey Gunny I know your a fan of the STAR EVO mini gun, any chance you could review the full size STAR gun they’re selling them over here in the states under the Astro Pneumatic brand and MATCO. They have HTE/HVLP/LVLP variations and cost around $100USD potential FLG-5 Killer? Would like to hear your thoughts on them and maybe review Videos🤔🙏. Paint Society Reviewed the HTE Variant and Motivated did one on the MATCO variant they seem like they are really solid guns.
Wow that’s proper classy that workshop mate 🚨….u look so much happier dude …could u perhaps maybe do a video on what happens when the booth heat jumps up from say 20 degrees to say 25 degrees how does it affect the psi on the gun regulator does it send it out off whack …. Thanks dude 😎
Yeah they don't make them now due to the steel frames rusting . Keeping them clean is important, some water floor booths need to have a door left open too to slow down and stop algy from forming on the walls . That is the cause of legionnaires , hope that helped . Nice shop by the way
Somewhat off-topic, but I was wondering if you’d ever had this happen to you. I am a rookie painter trying to learn enough to paint an airplane I am building. I am priming all of the internal structure not only for corrosion protection, but mainly to practice spraying before I get to the outside finish where it counts. I bought an SRiPro gun at the recommendation of paint vendor as they said it was less likely to blow around the small parts. It has worked great until a couple of weeks ago.
I have probably painted 25-30 batches of small parts now. About 5 batches ago, the gun started spraying more poorly, with much poorer atomization that in the past. I first thought it was a change in temp and humidity as we were moving from winter to spring. Finally, one batch got so bad that the paint was pretty much just dribbling out of the gun. I assume it was clogged, even though I clean it pretty thoroughly after each use and I am using a water borne paint system. I checked pressures both at the wall and at the gun regulator and all was well. Took the gun apart and it was clean inside. I was starting to suspect the gun regulator was bad and not providing the pressure the gauge was indicating so I was about to replace it. That is when I noticed that the airflow valve looked like it was screwed in way too far. Turns out, it was nearly all the way closed. I fully opened it and all was well. Apparently, my little finger rests on that knob and I was gradually closing the valve every time I used the gun. I’ve now added that to my pre-spray checklist in addition to checking and adjusting the air pressure.
Ever have this happen to you?
Welcome to Melb
Any chances you having training sessions for spray painting and stuff (beginner and advance level)?
Nice work the gunman. Enjoy watching your vids. Quick question, I am looking to spray a car in Honda sonic gray pearl code NH877P, are there certain colours that need to be sprayed to get the final colour right?
Gunny, glad your happy there. 1 question, whats the pay like? If you must spend time buffing and polishing each job to near perfection, versus refinish then ship it, then it seems that shop must pay an hourly wage rather than the more you do the more you make? Just curious.
Thanks, Ray, USA
Nice shop! Just curious does the insurance cover the extra costs of the extensive polishing or does the customer cover the extra?
Good luck in your new shop,I'm jealous, all the places you work seem to be really well kitted out, look forward to your new content from here👍
Had pneumonia and legionnaires, fucked my lungs up for life. Have mild emphysema on top of the the damage from the others now. Doesn't stop me enjying what i want, but sure makes it hard to breathe sometimes. Nice shop!
Hey have you ever tried the 3D brand of polish our painters were big fans of 3M to but they have switched to 3D now and said there never going back worth a look mate cheers!
Looks like a nice place to work gunny. Here's a tip for you did you know if you take your inspection light remove the overhead band completely you can tighten the band that goes around your head onto the spray pot of your gun works great as a Luma light.
I think they have one called a gun bud like that but it's not something I need to be honest
When we opening a shop 😂
All lexus pearl colours are a nightmare! Especially the blue and red 3 stagers
Nice vid Gunman!
Is there a other booth in the panel shop? Looks like a big one.
Yes, it's actually for doing aluminium work in. It's something Porsche required to be a recommended repairer I believe.
SWE3EEEEE3333333T👀👍💯
Great shop tour Gunny, have to say that compared to your last place which was always full of cars it looks very quiet there with not many cars considering the size of the place.
It seems to be a more relaxed working environment even though you are putting out high quality work which you can are more than capable of, thanks for explaining the water floor booths mate they do look like they will put out some clean jobs, looking forward to more vids of you painting some shit Gunny 👏👏👍 John UK.
👍
How cold does it get there? I’m on the East cost of the U.S and it can get down to the teens in the winter, but I’ve never had to worry about the tonners freezing.
Well it doesn't get that cold here. Maybe it isn't necessary, but we have it either way
Sir how many hours u work?
How many times did the paint representative say "you can't do that here. You have to follow procedures". To be perfect, you have to do everything perfect. But no human is perfect
Does this type of shop pay better than production work ?
Wait what temperature does that stuff freeze at?!
Btw how is paint availability there right now? We're having shortages right now in the US.
No shortages here yet. Maybe lockdown hangovers kicking in. And I didn't say the temp it freezes at because I don't know, I just said the heater might kick in when it gets to a certain temperature, and I also don't know what temperature that is. I'm sure you could ask a paint rep or check a tech data sheet.
Pretty sweet workshop mate, definitely a keeper.
Привет, ✌️. Для чего вода в яме? Это вместо напольного фильтра?
Do you offer any painting services in Melb, or only work for this new shop you're at in Melb? Thank you.
For now, just working here.
@@TheGunmanChannel I reckon you should be a teacher one day, you’ve got the people skills and the talent to pass on to the new comers etc.
@@PHLTHS my mate thinks the same. I could see myself being a trade school teacher one day
I live in Greece, are you calling me to work with you?
Could you answer our question pls
We alway looking for a high quality repair shop
Cuz shit job all the place in Perth.
上新的色母了吗?
Hey gunman, I've been spraying now for about a year and my boss has been letting me use his iwata LPH400 and I'm looking to buy my own spray gun soon. Do you have a short list of your favorite guns to use?
I have a top 10 spray gun video.

Get a Sagola 4600 - Use it for primer/fillers, base and clear.
Идеальное рабочее место
I had a dream like you, unfortunately, I could not fulfill it
Back on eastern seaboard mate! Think I must have missed something, what happened to the Facebook? Or shouldn't I have asked lol
My account was nuked for no reason with no explanation. It was in the lead up to the 2020 US election when big tech and the media was doing all they could to get Trump out, I am convinced my name having Gun in it was automatically flagged and censored. Other pro gun pages were nuked at the same time. So stupid 🤦♂️
@@TheGunmanChannel Americans enough said lol , hopefully life treating you well brother.
@@justincummins166 thanks mate, in actually in a good spot in life these days, happy & healthy!!
The biggest problem with that level of finishing detail is what are you getting paid for?! Seldom that insurance companies will pay for that level of work... Like if you're being paid 4 hours labor to refinish a bumper cover you can't afford to spend an hour polishing.
TC in Annapolis Maryland
What is the point of spraying water base and putting a solvent clear over the top? I thought the idea of the water system was to protect the environment! And why are water floor booths iligal?
illegal
Clean shops or dirty shops the job sucks period lol. Sorry but it's a rough life in this profession and it can kill your love of cars real quick.
I hate shops that dictate what guns you use
