Dear Cato, I have subscribed to your channel, and I'd love to see more videos from you. I'm probably biased because I'm from the UK originally and it was so nice to hear something good said about the British!!! LOL 😆 ! I love history and it would be great to hear more about really interesting people, like Sarah. It was strange how Queen Victoria made her own children and Sarah marry the people who She chose for them, instead of allowing them to marry for love. Especially when you consider that Queen Victoria herself married for love. Victoria was madly in love with Prince Albert and she wrote in her diary that she and Albert "didn't get much sleep" on their wedding night!!! She acted prim and proper, but she actually loved sex, she didn't like the consequences of it though, by which I mean childbirth. She called it "the dark side of marriage." I think Victoria's attitude was: 'Do as I say, not as I do'!

Thank you for this story, Queen Victoria was an extraordinary kind woman my late father loved her so much and gave me the name Victoria her love and compassion for Sarah even in those dark days is unimaginable
An extraordinarily kind women?. Children in the Victorian era worked down mines and up chimneys. And the notorious workhouses. Children walked the streets of London in bare feet.
