- The second phase of elections in India is set to cover a significant portion of the country. This phase includes all of Kerala, southern Karnataka, half of Rajasthan, pockets of Maharashtra, central Madhya Pradesh, western Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal and Assam. A total of 88 seats are up for grabs, 61 of which were previously held by the NDA, with 52 of these being BJP seats.
