The “ Buenos Dias “ in the slow motion fireball was great editing. Can’t wait to see this poor engine blow so George can get a T. S. P. 427ci. I hope it’s spectacular! Maybe put a couple of GoPros on the frame rails to get some epic footage. 👏👏

@@Sutliff01 That’s what they said, but who are they kidding. Most the GM fleet gets a TSP 427…. Leroy, Ruby, Mullet, Donnie, Bald Eagle Machine, etc. The only things that haven’t are Toast (always been a BBC), the240 (which hasn’t been seen much since Donnie showed up), and the Ramp Truck (which hasn’t been touched yet). I wouldn’t be surprised if they used a TSP 427 to power the generator in the toterhome trailer.

George is one of the most consistent people I've seen on pulling off the track when something happens. So many people will just keep rolling down track oiling the whole thing and have no concern for other racers' time. Big kudos to him for pulling over.
I only once blew an engine at the strip. cyl 3 detonated top of 2nd gear. I shut off the engine and coasted the rest of the way off the track. Got lucky, she didn't start leaking until after I got her stopped. The guys running the track spent 10 min looking for oil to clean up, couldn't find a drop on the track xD
i mean, either your getting oil on the track or ur GETTING it on the track, theres no you did or you didnt. some choose to stop let their oil pile up some still coast to get OFF THE TRACK ITS SELF so they can fully clan your mess up. its apart of drag racin brotha

Cleetus sure has a solid track record for making correct decisions. In this case deciding to buy the Blazer to finish Race Week. George naming him Rocky,and very soon after that Cleetus adding George to the team. Then letting George take "ownership" of the Blazer and all the cool wheelie and N2O fun that has happened. A real page turner of a story.

The high dollar rear axle and leaves and sliders and multitude of other parts thrown at this thing helps too
@@williamstamper442 Yeah, but lots of the cards in the Cleet Fleet have high-dollar rear ends and suspension parts but don't go down the track straight as easy as this clapped out Blazer.
It’s that 2wd S10 front suspension. Sooo much travel. Just keep the tires tall enough to prevent the oil pan from love tapping pavement at full compression.
I don't drag race, but I've followed this channel for a couple years now and am just flat out addicted to this group of guys and gals! Keep this awesome content coming!

@@itsdokko2990 unless they grow tired of it and blow the engine intentionally, like with Ruby's 4.8 and 5.3 blocks. Still kinda sad they didn't just wait for the blocks to come apart on their own, and instead just let them run dry.
