Great video as usual. The train is very smooth riding and very attractive looking but JR makes way too many announcements, nothing you can do about that though. I do like the short tune they play before the announcements. Looks like they have a steam engine fired up at the train barn at Shimo-imaichi. The are train lovers the world over and they love their steam engines. (me too 🚂). I really like the professional look of the engineers wearing uniforms. I was an engineer in the US for about 10 years before transferring to the mechanical repair department and US engineers don't wear uniforms. I'm still learning the Japanese signal system and operating rules which are similar in many ways to the US signal system. I follow the train route using Google maps to see where the train is using your excellent station labels. Thanks for all your hard work on these videos.

春日部までの運転士は、閉塞信号機の喚呼標識があっても喚呼どころか指差しさえほとんどしていないのが残念ですね。でも春日部からの運転士は、各信号機でしっかり指差喚呼していて安心・安全意識の高さが感じられ気持ちいいですね。
まぁそこが東武らしくていいんですよ

@@tsubasa__205 東武に限らずJR東もそうですね。これでも昔に比べたらマシになって列車によっては車掌と運転手の名前言うようになりましたね。
車内アナウンス開始前の音楽、『長い！』ってイライラするの、わたくしめだけでしょうか？？？3秒程度の音楽でいいと思うんですが
今は他の鉄道会社の特急でもそんなもんですよ
