Foam Cannon all the way! Only difference is apparently the CG one has replaceable parts but for 16$ id buy a new one again.

Soap doesn't clean though you still need to wash it which I don't understand people saying you dont
if you can afford it a pressure washer is a must. I use my foam caonnon to clean my outside windows. I put APC, i put chemtech Ct18 (truck wash) and i clean my outside windows. It does 90% of the job and they look awesome. So i wash my car and outside house windows with my foam cannon value for money in my opinion. Gone are the days where i have to use ladders and scrub windows by hand.

So things he didn’t mention on pros and cons for both:
Foam Gun
Pros:
1. Cheap.
2. Low risk of high pressure wash damage to vehicle.
Cons:
1. Not as sudsy
2. Will require sponge and bucket to rub tough bugs and grime off
3. Risk causing swirls and hazing in the paint with a manual sponge/bucket method.
4. Could shorten the life of any protective coatings applied to paintwork/vehicle.
Foam Cannon
Pros:
1. Way more suds.
2. In 90% of cases will not require sponging
3. Is basically the best touch-less wash (with pressure washer rinse)
4. The touch-less wash prevents a lot of paint damage like swirling, hazing, etc...which requires polishing or paint correction to get out.
5. Touch-less washing will better maintain any coating protection you have applied, making it last longer.
Cons:
1. More expensive
2. Will require a pressure washer purchase if you don’t already own one.
3. Novices can risk damaging paintwork when using a high powered pressure washer (generally 2000psi or higher). Or risk blowing things like trim work and gaskets off the car.

Chemicals guys is a regular cannon they just slap a sticker on the bottle and over priced it I get the same one for less at my local detail and molding shop

I have an electric pressure washer but I love the connivence for quick washes to use the hose attachment foam king I think it’s equal to the torx foam canon plus you don’t need to use the extension cord and garden hose with the foam kind long garden hose no repositioning of the pressure washer and can go straight form rinse to foam back to rinse I still use my foam canon but the simplicity of the foam king with just a hose makes it my favorite go to for washes in between the heavily detailed cleaning

They all work the same the only difference is how much psi you are running on your pressure washer
Canon foam looks nice when it hits the car, but by the time he's done talking it's dripped off about the same amount as the foam gun.

I have both just so if I just need a touch up wash I don't have to lug the pressure washer out.
I bought the foam gun and water leaks out of the cap and nozzle. So water comes of two places.
Foam Cannon looks like fun, looks good.. But seems to be way Overkill overall. Cost, Hassell pulling out the power washer excetera. But still, it looks cool.
Mr. Pink is 1000x better as a foam cannon soap than a regular bucket soap. I didn't expect those results. WOW! As a bucket wash, it's just plain terrible haha! Like you've been saying, I wish Chemical Guys would do a fantastic bucket soap. I'd even like to see a special one for their foam gun.
Yes Sir! You are 100% right, most CG products are trash in the 2 bucket method, very watered down. I have asked them several times to make one and they don't want to listen so I don't recommend any of their soaps for the bucket method.
I've used both, foam cannon is worth it. Harbor Freight electric 1700psi washer on sale for $75 plus $20 foam cannon = win. Awesome lude btw. Miss my 98.

Chemical Guys Australia sell the foam guns for $80! I bought the exact same gun but without chemical guts written on it for $30 on eBay. Love it and as I said it's identical.

So i bought a Cheap off brand one that looks like this but the foam is more like the Foam gun and not thick like this. I am going to buy the Chemical Guys one and see if its different.

I didn't know Rob Dyrdek was an expert on foam cannons.
Funny, got it straight between the gun and Cannon but many videos, I believe, mixed up the names.. it's hard to look up stuff. Like best soaps in a gun, but yet they are using a cannon.. And vice versa.. It made take longer to distinguish between the two or figure out who was right
Crazy thing is chemical guys sells the foam gun for like $50. You can get these from china directly from the company that makes them for like $10 with shipping from china

aboalmlk aboalrhman someone from Amazon messed up the prices on there site. Alot of people order and a few orders did get cancel.
they have the exact same foam cannon on amazon for 15 bucks it just doesnt have the label on it.
It blows me away that foam guns, the decent ones cost $40.. Which is a very expensive for such cheap things anyway. That's nuts. I know you can get all plastic real cheap like for twenty bucks. But even the decent one should only cost maybe 30 not 40 or more

Acc0rd79 oh yeah man for sure. I have an electric pressure washer now it's second hand I got it from my grandparents and it works great. It even has a foam attachment for it and it works great the question is for how long. We will see:) anyways man have a good one.

Honeydew snow soap definitely produces more foam in each foam tool I’ve seen the difference first hand I have both the torx foam canon and the foam canon bug I prefer the foam king to the chemical guys personally

yah one is a much cheaper way than the other to get lots of foam.
My normal pressure washer soap nozzle does the some thing the foam gun does the cannon for the pressure washer is better
The hose foam gun is Great - watch me use to clean a car with no buckets needed
Nice video. Iam in the process of buying a pressure washer, solely for the purpose of car wash. There are so many to choose from. Some are 1600, 1800, 2000 and all the way upto 3600 psi. Which PSI pressure washer would be good to buy (just for car wash)?

Great info thanks! can't seem to find information if all power washers have the same connector to connect the cannon, I have a Craftsman electric power washer 1700 psi.
most pressure washers do have universal connectors but they have adapters in case yours doesn't fit.

Using a hose with the first one doesn't make sense though. It has a much lower psi than the pressure washer. 😕

Great video. When using the foam cannon, I noticed on this video and on a CG video, after spraying the vehicle they are washing, there seems to be about 3/4 of soapy water solution still in the bottle. Assuming you don’t have another vehicle to wash next, what is done with the solution? Dumped, or saved maybe for a couple of days for another wash? Is it recommended maybe to just fill the bottle half way with water/soap solution so there isn’t as much waste? Thanks, again, great video and showing the difference in the two items.
I save mine for next time I was my Ram or we use it to wash the wife’s Jeep. I use setting 3 I like the foam cannon for use at home but when at work and using their pressure washer foam gun it’s the most foam from my GC profuct

So, quality soap works better? This video has NOTHING to do with comparing gun vs. cannon. Use the good soap in your gun, and then you will be able to properly compare.
Yea I think that for the amount of soap that uses compared to the actual amount of foam, it's so not worth it lol. *GIVE ME THE CANNON ANY DAY*
