I have hunted for a very long time. This is very comprehensive. I'm alway amazed at how many people I've seen that don't have the basics let alone something like your kit Great job
I have the Alaskan bobcat combo and love it. I carry a havalon for skinning and a non pointed knife for reaching in the chest cavity. Cut my hand pretty good with the hatchet last night when working with a custom kydex sheath. We have a similar set up but I added some first aid just in case. Bandage gauze, bandaids, iodine, Tylenol, benadryl and a few tourniquets. Also added some trash bags so I can haul out dirty utensils and my gloves. Hope you've gotten some big ones this season.
Please note I am currently have issues with amazon. So there are no links right now. I will post another comment when this is fixed. Thanks for watching blessing the ocd Hunter! *******AMAZON LINKS FIXED*******
While not quite OCD, I DO like to be organized. I was looking for a strategy and I really like yours, knowing I'll also change some things out. I'll use your Amazon links to get the things I need. I appreciate you making this video.
I like your set up, I would set the knives differently, the first to the left will be the first knife used second so on and so forth myself, but that's just me and my need to make everything go in order.
I'm relatively new to hunting, this will be my third season. I loved your delivery of this info, concise and well thought out. I'm the kind of guy that thinks about subscribing, but never does. When I saw your DNR tag and heard you're in Indiana as well, I SMASHED that sucker ASAP. Can't wait for more!
Thanks so much for subbing. Things on video front are a little slow right now. Sorry for the delay in returning your comment, I’m in Maui celebrating my 20th wedding anniversary. I’m glad you like the videos. And the kind words. Anything you want a video on let me know and I’ll see what I can do. Blessings the ocd Hunter.
Great setup, I don't think the light my fire mora is good because of the open firesteel in the handle just for contamination reasons. I think they are a little too fat in general to be ideal, I did just pick up a replaceable blade knife for next year to be my field processing knife.

No butt out ii tool. Also hear the Sagen Saw better than the Gerber one

Can not find links, what brand of fixed blade knife, not the moras
It’s bothering my OCD that you didn’t put the saw back in it’s sheath properly.
Lol.
You must hate your back
Dont carry all that shit !
A giant waste of time and resources
If your a new hunter pass this by
Tool rolls are cheap…..
