You did a great job on this video! I do want to add that it is necessary to take all the door apart and the trim unfortunately!!! Then you slide the window down all the way and then turn it to fit into the grooves of the window!!!! Thank you! I was able to replace my window!!!!

Can you help me? How did you remove the bolts? With what tool and what size? My glass is shattered from an accident so there's no glass in it. I just need to put a new one in.

Need this for a 2012 soul... getting that window back in is not as easy as this looks...

@Brandon Okler ...half way down. The way I did it, with my wife, we started it from the outside of the door frame...getting those bottom clips in first then shimmying it in little by little side to side until it went down in gradually, then do the bottom bolts to bring it all the way down. My window is off track, it pinches the molding... but it's up...gotta adjust it sometime. Btw, so far, it's impossible to get a window out that isn't broken. Another thing that's different for the rear door... you don't remove the speaker...look for the open space on the left and you should see a place/hole on the right for a socket with an extension to take the window bolts out. If you take the motor off, you'll be able to manually move the window hardware, as needed. Junkyard we chose, would not let us in but pulled the parts for us.

@Brandon Okler Yes the black piece comes out easily. Please update when you get your new window on how you got it out.

Is taking the motor out to the window necessary? Looks like you can just roll the window down untill the bolt holes line up. Unless your window motor is not morking.

It seems like that was part of the option for if the battery was out.
