im still trying to find out what sample is canvas because that aint Quincy Jones feat. Valerie Simpson Summer in the City so lost played the song many times cant here this sample anywhere on this song i give up
LowkeyLoki That's kinda why I wanna know how they made it, the first half and second half of 90210 could be singles by its self, and I takes a whole different level of production to make a song like that
"I found out Eminem was on it when I confirmed the song was still on the project, and I was like 'Oh wow, that's pretty cool.'." that is the most unbothered reaction to finding out Eminem is on your track lol i love her
I think it's cool to see simple beats like this. it helps me realize I don't have to overthink things on every beat. She's super original, super inspirational for sure
Always amazed at how most of the best beats seem so simple and quick to create. And when the process is laid out and explained, I'm still left scratching my head like I've just witnessed some crazy magic....
Fuck .. I spent days listening to that beat when the song came out ,Studying it ,and trying to up my producing game to that level cause it was the most beautiful thing I'd heard .. And then she says she did it in 5 minutes ,and didn't care for it. What is my life ?! She's the GOAT
First beat I heard by her was "Teen Spirit" by SZA years back. Now she's shitting out tracks for Sean & Em like it's nothing. This shit is inspiration. If I could go back in time I would make it so I had started producing way earlier in life.
For people that think using samples are considered cheating and fake, ALL TOP PRODUCERS use samples!! The art of a sample is to cut up, slice, transpose, reverse, extend, contract, and stuff to make it your own. Just don't drag and drop a sample and call it a day, but even that there can be an abundance of other elements and layers you could add to it. People that say samples are cheating most likely don't know how to produce. Or at least know how to use a sample.
At nine I didn't know the concept of producing music existed, then I discovered it at 12, and at 16 I started producing my shits, instrumentals, and EDM songs. Today at 21 I have not generated any income with this and I think that although I keep trying at least as a hobby, I will never finish achieving it. Then I will have to work in whatever job I find without any satisfaction, living an empty life that I did not choose but that society imposed on me. The good thing about this is that I am not the first to pass nor will I be the last, and I will continue to produce until the end of my days, in case there are planets aligned and I can monetize my passion on occasion. Thanks to Wondagurl and many other artists for inspiring me and for continuing to do so.
What she said at the end is exactly how I feel. This beat seems like something that falls below what she usually does lol she usually does go ALL IN and makes something great but this beat was eh I’m glad to see she thinks that too I was afraid I was hating for no reason lol
Wow so her and FrancisGotHeat co-produced this,I still remember their beat battle round in the battle of the beatmakers 2012 competition they had the best round in the whole comp, but of course Wondagurl won you already know she won it all
I hope she gets more shine. Sure plenty of people who are aware of her, but many don't realize what an influence to the entire rap game she is. She's one of the greatest producers out.
TheCapuyosoy That's actually a good point. When there is something notable in a beat like a sample, the credit goes to the artist. Thank god for Genius to have the credits for the producers.
Producers deserve more respect they're changing the rap game
producers carrying most rappers these days just look at rae sremmurd
Zambo Lika they have energy and charisma though.
yoshiboy1 y'all say this like you ain't watching a video about a producer "need more credit" they get credit plus checks
dre over they don't get credit on spotify and other streaming services, which is shit.
yoshiboy1 Dr. Dre Deserve The Most Respect He Actually Risk His Life
Fruity loops really changed the game

@@lilweez2175 stfu lol
Aye, you just hit 100k
The one thing I would like WondaGurl to do is show how they made the beat for 90210 by Travis Scott, especially the second half of the song.
Same, but the 1st half. I hate that 2nd half. Always change the track when it comes on. lol
LowkeyLoki That's kinda why I wanna know how they made it, the first half and second half of 90210 could be singles by its self, and I takes a whole different level of production to make a song like that
LowkeyLoki both parts are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tobi Owolabi she produced that ??? Damn
Fr3ShPRiNC3 She was one of the producers that made the song, i think 2 or 3 other producers were on it.

Shes worked with so many people its lowkey numbed her, and she didnt meet him nor was it specifically for Em
She got that placement early on from Jay-Z so she's probably got all the fan freak out out of her system.
