"now it's my turn." she takes a knife from her pocket, and cut his chest, one more line of blood across his body, he could do nothing but moan for the pain. the gazes between michael and selene were heavy, the tension was so obvious. he broke the silence. "are u going to kill me?" "not yet.." she puts the knife under his chin, on the top of the skin of his troath "...i want to torture you, make u suffer, like you did with me and with the ones i loved." he giggled. "don't u think that you tortured me enough?" he makes her look at his wounds. her eyes now werr covered by tears, tears that she doesn't want to escape, she has to demonstrate that she's strong even in this situation, but both knew the true. "well, then..kill me." she raised her eywbrows and her glare moves from his wounds to his eyes. "don't act like you're suprised, both of us known that this day had to come, so, do it." he takes a steps closer to her, making the knife slip into his skin. "do it." he repeated. "but i still love you.." she wasn't able to move an inch of her body. "me too. i love you too darling but this love was consuming, torturing, taked away our souls. it's not the love i want you to live for the lest of your life." she sobs. "please. do it. it's the only way." she takes out the knife of the side of his troath, looks at it, then at him. he closed his eyes, ready to die. "i'm sorry." that was the only thing she was able to say, then, she closed her eyes and did what has to be done. she killed him. she killed the man she loves. she killed him with her own hands, she stabbed him right there, in the heart, right where it all started. the moment she stabbed him, he opened his eyes and remains without air, he died with a little smile and staring at her, he died looking at the only woman he ever had loved. selene started to cry desperately, but knew that was the best. he was right. "a hero would kill the loved ones to save the world, a villain would burn the entire world to save his loved ones" and she choosed to be the hero.
Slaying the Shifter Prince, Powerless, Kingdom of the wicked, To kill a Kingdom, Queen of roses, Dance of thieves, Her wicked mates, Caraval, Cruel Prince, Sky in the deep. I think these are great. And also wants to recommend the book by Bride, this vibe is not so noticeable here. but I love this story.
