    Thanks for the recipe. I just have one question. Can I substitute the Fresh tumeric with tumeric powder in the blended ingredients? Thanks

      Yes David. You absolutely can. Replace the 60g fresh turmeric with 20g of turmeric powder. Have fun cooking! 😄

    What can we add if don't have access to candlenuts?

      Hi!
      You can substitute candlenuts with either cashew nuts or macadamia nuts. It will equally be delicious!

    Hi, do you need to soak the glutinous rice before cooking?

      Hi Jesmine,
      You need not have to soak the rice if you are using a rice cooker. Just cook it as though you are cooking your rice ordinarily. However, if you are steaming your rice, it would be advisable to soak the rice for at least 4 hrs before steaming. Hope this helps❤
