This showcase was one of the best ones! Though I personally would have added Kevin Owens beating John Cena at Elimination Chamber 2015 since it was a major loss to a current NXT champion

don’t get me wrong this showcase was so fun to play, just wish it didn’t feel awkward watching the match with little to no match audio with some repetitive background music. I get it with the trademark rights, but having the same commentary during the real life moment in game would make it so legendary

That's because CM Punk was not under contract with WWE yet when WWE 2K23 was developed and released, hense why that iconic battle at Money In The Bank 2011 didn't make the cut. It only took 8 months since the release of WWE 2K23 for CM Punk to finally return to WWE and break the internet more than how Summerslam 2021 broke the internet. However, it's too little too late now to put that "CM Punk vs John Cena Money In The Bank 2011" match in because we are now in 2024 and are currently on the road to, hopefully, WWE 2K24. So, maybe next time.
Why Rvd so slim 🤔 2k needs to focus more on superstars bodies. Many of the bodies are wrong. Some are too small, Some are too big, and some have too many muscles.
Instead of one off matches they should have really fleshed out the feuds and done each one as its own chapter comprising of multiple matches and major points in the feuds
This mode feels so lifeless. No entrances, just completing the similar chore-like objectives in every match with no commentary; only copyright free music. The “slingshot technology” is cool the first time you see it, but it gets old when the match just becomes a long cutscene. It also feels strange to be fighting the narrator instead of playing as him.
I believe this is the first game that the 2002 undertaker has short hair. That’s pretty cool, I have been waiting for this version of the undertaker for a long time
The spinner belt looks different like it doesn't spin and has a different golden texture. TBH it looks really good I wouldn't mind seeing design become reality

I've been enjoying it so far but I have to point out the miscarriage that is Edge's outfits, and it's so brutal when it switches to live action for a bit and back to the gameplay, the tights are dreadful, like an infant's drawing. Do yourself a favour and get a more accurate one from community creations

What I noticed is that there are red marks/bruises at the back too. Although I haven’t tried specific weapon marks on the body since I’m too focused on the improved blood graphics when damaging the head.

The Rey Showcase missed a lot. This one really only missed Money in The Bank 2011
It's also missing a huge part of his early career. PPV debut and a win over Chris Jericho.
