    I was there this morning (arrived~ 8:45). I go every morning except Saturday (too crowded). I love the old part of the beach with the old, wooden, enclosed picnic area. Tranquillo.

    During ww2 crash boat used to be part of the Ramey Air Force base. It’s where the navy’s PT boats docked and refueled.

    Jen - thank you for the good presentation. I grew up in Aguadilla and scuba dived the Crash boat many times thru my teenage years. Heading back to PR in a few weeks.

    You are absolutely amazing. What stores do you usually do your grocery shopping at? Do you stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? It would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping

      I shop at Econo, Pueblo, and Ralph's for groceries. Here is an old video of grocery shopping and prices, please forgive the terrible lighting and sound. ruclips.net/video/ppt5PEbnOug/видео.html

    Love all the videos? staying at Cabo Rojo in may is it better to fly into aguadilla airport ?

    • @rluikaart
      @rluikaart 2 года назад

      Things may be different now but flights arrived at around 2am when I moved here. Flew into San Juan and then to Mayaguez instead. Stayed at the Colonial Hotel (recommended) the first night and then moved into my new apartment in Aguadilla. For anyone thinking of moving to the western part of the island, I think starting out in Mayaguez is a good option.

    Jen, Thanks for your videos! Is the artificial reef too deep for snorkeling? Is there a good snorkel location at Crash Boat Beach?

    • @JenThereDoneThat
      @JenThereDoneThat  2 года назад

      There is nice snorkeling around the pier. The artificial reef is probably too deep for most, and it can be a rough surface swim.

    We are coming to Puerto Rico in February 2022. We are planning on staying at the Hilton in Ponce But we have heard reviews that the beach there is not very nice. What recommendations would you have for a resort with the best beach in Puerto Rico, it needs to be affordable of course. Thank you for any help or guidance you may give

    Hi Jen, I love your videos!
    I've been looking at houses for sale in PR and I notice that all the houses have heavy bars on the windows and all access. Why is that? Can you maybe make a video that addresses crime and public safety? Some videos are saying it dangerous there due to gangs. Is it more or less dangerous inland vs coastal? What's the deal?
    I've also noticed that there are a lot of homes that just seem abandoned...is that because of hurricane damage and people just are deciding to dump damaged homes vs repair?
    I am employed as a Product Manager for one of the 2 telecom companies you mentioned in your internet video. Would I get tax benefits living there?
    Also, I'm a single man. What are prospects like for finding a girlfriend or wife?

    • @hekty75
      @hekty75 2 года назад

      It's very common for houses in P.R. to have bars in windows .. not necessary for high crime in the area
      I'm puertorrican living in Florida for 27 yrs ..looking to buy there also , like mountain area with nice ocean view

  • @victorcollazo3951
    @victorcollazo3951 2 года назад +1

    Jen! please make a down to earth (indirect) response to Cohn's last video... Her husband called PR a dump. And what they showed was a beer can, a mask, and a plastic bag... And they constantly used stalk footage to "dramtise their experience"... Anything a puertorrican can upload would come off as biased to the viewer...

      Oh, I have no words for that video. I will continue to post about the beauty of the island and Puerto Rican people. Everyone has different experiences and expectations.
