Im a 90s evergreen man & Kumar sanu fanboy and even though I might prefer one song over the other I must admit, the best SRK song has to be Chaiyya Chaiyya.
As Iconic as the song is, it is also ingeniously composed by A.R. Rahman. From the word play of 'Chaiyya' mimicking the sound of a train, to the actual drum beats and symbols actually sounding like the wheels of a train.
SRK was like Tom Cruise with stunts back then, he went up in flames for the 1996 movie 'Koyla' and here in 'Dil Se' he sang on top of a moving train. Come on!
You have to commend the visuals behind the song, no green screen or wires. That train was going more than 5mph, everyone else was tied down but SRK as he had to jump from roof to deck.
Visuals aside, Sapna Awasthi beautiful voice complimented the track perfectly.
To add a personal experience; non of our black/white neighbours (Im from UK London) cared too much when my brother blasted bollywood until they heard Chaiyya Chaiyya!
Everyone was singing it at that time, what made it even more cool was the fact it was used as the intro song for the Hollywood movie 'Inside Man'. I rest my case

Mailaika 😍😍😍😍 is just in this song. The equivalent of Kylie in Moulin Rouge. Quite often actors only appear in a song as a special appearance. Movie is a great art movie.

I don't know if this video is the original, because it has lost the end track of the video song. Hopefully, you'll watch the movie 'DIL SE', and you'll get to see the entire song video that way.
'Dil Se' (From The Heart) is a classic Indian film. It's a masterpiece by Mani Ratnam who managed to bring together an incredibly talented team to make this film across the whole production. It's a stunning film to watch and experience.
The music, choreography, cinematography and performances by the entire cast are brilliant. This film has one of the finest music albums by A.R Rahman. The songs are experimental as are the sounds and visuals.
I highly recommend you watch this film. Both SRK and Manisha have given stunning performances. Their intensity is juxtaposed by their vulnerability, and this is beautifully depicted in the film too.
And 'Chal Chaiyan Chaiyan' is an iconic song for SRK with those military style pants, black T-Shirt, and red jacket and his floppy mop of hair. He's absolutely gorgeous and this is the SRK I cannot get enough of. I love SRK of this era. He truly redefined Indian cinema globally, and 'DIL SE' played a huge role as well as this song in reaching audiences outside of India and gaining SRK worldwide attention that he deserves. He's a gorgeous human being too!
I hope you get to see the original song video of this song some day because it's an experience to remember.
    Great reaction as always! 😍

Sorry but this video that you got it actually a remix or auto tune version.. not the original one.. original version sound a bit different. We grow up listening these songs thousand and thousand times in india, and it’s a very iconic song and music.. so even there is a slight change in it.. our ears👂can catch it.

The video repeats itself halfway. The images I mean, not the song. I live in the Netherlands but I have an Indian background and I don’t think there is any older Indian who doesn’t know this song. 😄

The video is not original... After some time it started showing same images cut pasted and the beat went off track.... You still got the essence right in your overall reaction...But watch the original
